Israel decided to refrain from a ground invasion of Gaza after it was warned that such a move could spell the end of the peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan, Channel 2 reported Thursday.
According to the report, Mossad Head Tamir Pardo, who went to Cairo as Israel's representative in the contacts that preceded the ceasefire, was told in messages from Cairo and from Washington that the peaceful relations between Israel, Jordan and Egypt were at risk.

The point I was making is that the Muslims are going to continue to hold the 1977 treaty over Israel’s head...until they don’t.
I’m just not worried. If attacked again, Israel will fight back - make no mistake about that. They have one of the finest militaries in the world. And, one day, all its enemies will be gathered in the valley of Mediggo, (otherwise known as the Battle of Armageddon) and these scummy Jew-hating Muslims will be wiped out. It all works out good for the Israelies.
