Do we really need to take offense at every perceived slight from this clown?

Don't attribute to conspiratorial evil what can more easily explained by ignorance, stupidity, and a pathetic sense of humor.

There are plenty of legitimate transgressions of his to focus on which won't give ammo to those that already think the Right suffers from "ODS".

No matter how you see this as a president he came across as being in a teenager mode (giggling, laughing); not presidential. He constantly tells us to be tolerant of Islam and the Muslim community though during most opportunities he either makes these disrespectful gestures and or uses words to insult. He knew what he was doing/either it was childish or sinister. He should never make any innuendos towards any group for anyone to ponder his motives to begin with.

Pope: Christ Was Not a Prophet!
November 19, 2012 • From theTrumpet.com
In a startling statement made during his Monday Angelus to the faithful, Pope Benedict declares Jesus Christ was no prophet.

Vatican

“At midday today the holy father appeared at the window of his study to recite the Angelus with faithful gathered in St. Peter’s Square. He commented on this Sunday’s gospel, focusing on Jesus’s words about the end of time.” So begins the report by the Vatican’s own Information Service on a public statement the pope made on Sunday.

In a startling pronouncement about Jesus Christ’s revelation of the signs leading up to His return to Earth, Pope Benedict declared that “Jesus does not describe the end of the world, and when He uses apocalyptic images, He does not act as a ‘seer.’ On the contrary, He wishes to ensure that His disciples in every age remain unmoved by dates and predictions.”
