I agree.

California (and Illinois) seems to be floating trial balloons about federal bailouts. In a sane world, this could never happen. The U.S. Congress would torpedo this instantly.

But this isn't a sane world anymore. The Constitution is little more than a wash rag now, and the POTUS regularly ignores it or defies it.

Sad to say, I don't know how this is all going to end, but I'll put it this way: I'd much rather be in a red state these days than a blue one.
