Israeli soldiers pose on the floor to spell out 'Bibi loser' as insult to Netanyahu
Daily Mail ^ | 24th November 2012 | Leon Watson

'After nights of relentless pounding by rockets and a rising death toll, the fragile ceasefire between Israel and Gaza's Hamas rulers has been tentatively welcomed by civilians on both sides.

But it appears the truce was not a pleasing outcome to a group of battle-hungry Israeli soldiers which wanted to carry on the fighting and invade the Gaza Strip.

To spell out their frustration, 16 Israeli Defence Force soldiers arranged their uniformed bodies on the ground, to spell out the Hebrew words 'Bibi loser' in an angry reference to Prime Minister Benjamin (Bibi) Netanyahu.

The photo has now gone viral causing the IDF to investigate - a spokesperson said it frowned upon soldiers expressing political opinions while in uniform.

While there have been calls for the soldiers in the photo to be court-martialled, others have agreed with their frustration after IDF were instructed to prepare for battle and then told to stand down, reported the Times of Israel.'

This truce may cost Netanyahu the next election and Obama will have won another one.

As many have learned and will continue to learn, telling the truth will likely get you punished. Certainly is true here in the US. Of course, DEMs could say they wanted to kill PWB or see him dead and that wasn’t a problem. Say the same about Obama, and you might as well start planning for the afterlife.

Mr. Watson seems to try to make it sound that these Iraelis are just blood-thirsty neandrathals like their Pali counterparts. This is, of course, not true. They’ve simply had enough of war and want to put a stop to it once and for all.

I also am disappointed that Netanyahu won’t finish the b@$t@rds off, and I’m far from a war monger.

Yeah, I understand the frustrations of these guys, but I can also understand Bibi’s situation. If he had invaded Gaza (might still happen, we’ll see how long this ceasefire lasts), Egypt would have been a genuine concern in the years to come. He has enough to worry about with Iran.
I think this conflict may have just been a test of the Iron Dome the more I look at it. It works great, and if an attack on Iran happens, Israel will invade Gaza preemptively, so it will have to deal with rocket attacks there and then.

Were the rumors about Obama’s Sinai troop deployment deal true?

LOL! I told people here on FR what the photo meant in a posting yesterday that had that photo at the link.

I think it is time for a the Gaza Urban Renewal Project. Rent a fleet of B-52 bombers from the US and carpet bomb every building until they are all leveled. Be sure to leaflet the area three days beforehand so the Muzzies have a chance to leave for Egypt.

Wrong. They are soldiers. Posing for this picture was not only stupid, it was insubordination.

Hezbollah would have loved a ground invasion into Gaza. It would have freed them up enough to launch Scuds on the northern Israeli air bases from Lebanon. Utimately this will all end with the Hezbollah, Hamas and Syria in piles of radioactive ash and Egypt esentially wiped out when the Aswan dam is destroyed by Israel. Israel will pay a price for these victoriess though. But we know God wins in the end. :)

I told Freepers that BiBi was a great talker but he was better at this.

They are soldiers- they want to win, and that means going in and killing their enemies. And their politicians won’t let them- so of course they are mad- and if history is any guide, they’ll be the ones who are correct in the end.

The Israeli Solders have every right to be pissed. They were ready to take care of the problem once and for all and then once again the politicians interfered and put themselves above the long lasting security of their citizens.

It’s just buying time and putting out the Iranian fire first. Morsi gets to complete his take over of Egypt and Israel gets to attack the Shia. The Sunni will get their guns pointed in the right direction eventually. It’s a strategic blunder and typical of the Obama/Clinton/Carter foreign policy.

Don’t threaten war unless you plan to follow through. Hamas is crapping its pants while blustering about driving Israel into the sea. Bibi should have called their bluff. He backs down and he makes himself and Israel look weak, gives the message that Obama can pull his chain, and permits Hamas to claim victory. Israel won the limited military skirmish but lost the PR battle.

BiBi was forced to do this by the Clinton/Obama foreign policy. Meanwhile the Gazans claim victory saying that they forced the Israelis into a truce. They truly do have a mental disease.

I think that Israel has bigger fish to fry right now. An invasion in Gaza now would cause rockets from Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and Gaza in retaliation.....while they are trying to get ready for an attack on Iran. Israel needs to attack Iran FIRST, QUICKLY AND DECISIVELY. The rockets of retaliation from adjacent lands will happen anyways and Israel can handle that after Iran has been neutralized.

Israel's gonna keep fiddle fartin around till a nuclear Iran.

They can no longer depend on America with the current muzzie sympathizer in office.

The world's a bit wore out by all the muslim mischief around the world. It's time to putt’em back in their place...them with their stupid pedophile false prophet from hades.

PM Netanyahu likely has his reasons:

- Iron Dome works, let's get some US-funded re-supply for next time
- Maybe we can talk Obama into supplying us with something else (bunker busters, Spectre gunships, etc??)
- How ready were our reservists this time when we called them up, are they ready for the real thing?
- Did our pilots get enough bombing practice, are they ready for next time?
- Let's watch Hamas re-supply and target where they are doing so for next time
- Hamas leaders are coming out of their spider holes for the cameras, let's track their locations for next time

"Israel's gonna keep fiddle fartin around till a nuclear Iran."

If they fiddle much longer, they are going to be destroyed. Obama is clearly backing the Muslim Brotherhood and the spread of Islamic radicalism. He has been instrumental in deposing secular regimes in the Middle East and North Africa as a prelude to the establishment of the Muslim dream of a Greater Caliphate. The Caliphate will unite to attack Israel with Obama's tacit support and then will move on to subvert and attack the rest of the West.

Good for them. Netanyahu betrayed the nation with cowardice by elevating a terrorist group to equal status with a democracy via a “cease fire”.

Obama/Clinton forbade the ground invasion. Bibi needed spare parts and to pick his battle carefully for the next war, the big one.

But now it appears that the Egyptians have their own problems to worry about. Seems as though, some of those folks aren’t really liking the MB running their country.
