WHERE'S GOD.. WHEN WE NEED HIM?

WHERE’S GOD...?

Have you ever wondered where in the world is GOD, when we are witnessing unspeakable horrors throughout the world each and every hour of each and every day?

Forget listening to the news, local, national, or heaven forbid international news, there isn’t a moment’s peace in the world if we accept what we are told... Heck, we can’t even turn on the TV, log on to the computer, or flip on the radio at the top of any hour of the day or night, without being reminded of the suffering of our fellow humans, not just in countries that we have come to know half way around the globe.. But, down the block, or an innocent day care center, that we pass on our way to the mall.. Don’t even get me started on what is happening at malls…

We all know about the NEWS, if it bleeds, it leads.. That doesn’t mean it isn’t happening, it’s all about holding us hostage to our nature, like slowing down to view an accident, secretly hoping to see some tragedy.. Don’t lie, at least to yourself.. If you don’t like the news, don’t turn it on.. Better than that, if you can’t handle the bad in the world, stay in bed!

How could this be happening, where are we going, and when is going to stop, if ever, and most importantly, where in the world is GOD when we need HIM?

If we are so self-absorbed, or fragile, perhaps we’re looking for GOD in all the wrong places.. Maybe there really isn’t any GOD, and no one is to be blamed for the evil in the world.. I know it’s pretty popular today to deny GOD.. We are being bombarded and snickered at, it’s called enlightened to refuse the existence of ALMIGHTY today..

To be sure, I am the wrong guy to lay out the case for the faithful; I am in no way religious, using today’s interpretation, I’m a heathen.. I was raised Roman Catholic, but I stopped going to Church regularly, when the kids grew up, and left the nest.. And, the older I get, I find it harder to defend some of the core issues of my contemporaries.. However, I’m not quite a “live and let live” yet.. Just look around at today’s culture, and you can see where that has gotten us…

If the sunrise, the Redwood Forest, and a baby’s smile, doesn’t do it for you, I’m at a loss to persuade you of the fundamentals of the true believers, I’m here for the BIG PICTURE! Lets bring it closer to home.. My GOD is a lot closer to me than answering my hopes for a Pulitzer.. I don’t need you to see a patch on my sleeve, or my quotations of the passages from the Bible, to justify my faith, not that there is anything remotely wrong with having that devout a commitment, I have simpler, and a much more personal relationship with MY SAVIOR.. By today’s standards I’m shallow, but it works for me, and it just might for you too..

I am not perfect! I know, I know what you think, but I am not really flawless..… My GOD is with me all of the time, he sees me, hears me, watches everything that I do, and for that reason, he has to be forgiving, because I am no Angel.. However, because he is omnipresent, and because I know when I screw up, and I’m ashamed of it when I do.. I believe, that you are exactly what you do every minute of the day.. If you lie and deceive, even some of the time, you’re a phony, clear and simple.. If you steal even a pencil, you’re a thief!

Be honest with yourself, if not because you know it, but MY GOD is watching too, and he is has your best interest in your BIG PICTURE.. He doesn’t stop me, that is my job, I already know what is wrong, and when I need to catch a break, he nudges me to remember what I really did when HE needed me to behave in HIS image.. I don’t have a fear of GOD, I have his respect to live up to.. I don’t walk around in constant shame, because I’m not a bad person.. I only get what I am willing to give.. Get it?

I don’t expect MY GOD to stop the horrific actions in the world, but GOD knows each of us, personally.. If you expect GOD to protect you, then you have no responsibility for your actions, therefore no blame, no reason to improve.. If you expect GOD to give you that break, when the chips are down, what did you do when the chips were down in your own life.. Did you earn your break when you were dealing with others?

Today, I’m sick as Hell, but I didn’t always take care of myself, when I should have, and I knew it.. But I am a happy person, sick or well, not by nature, but because I earned it.. When you do good, and live clean, at least most of the time, you have earned a break when you really need it.. And GOD knows, I’ve had those breaks when it seemed all was lost.. MY GOD is a kind of a score keeper..

Here is where I might depart from my brethren, I’m not too sure about the afterlife, I’m going to get the best out of the HERE AND NOW.. THANK GOD.. 

About live and let live - it is the way God created us- church or no church - with free will. We are free to be as nasty or good and as deep or shallow as we wannabe. But there is natural law and it has natural consequences of what we choose to do and be in life. God is in charge of the afterlife experience.

The culture war emcompasses what we teach and model for young people as to what is good and what is bad - based on the consequences. The Bible gives mankind a heads up. It is the drivers’ manual to avoid sink holes in life. The rules of the road are clear from warnings of the Bible but also in social, physical and material outcomes. That is true on a personal level and it all adds up a collective public social experience on how we are treated and treat others. There is a reason Western culture produced freedom and wealth.

You are so right that we see God act and His blessings and forgiveness in our personal lives. We also see natural law act out in our own lives. If we love others, we naturally want to give them a heads up when they are headed for a blow out. In addition to protecting innocent life, offering the knowledge of the self control in line with ethics and virtue is what a lot of the “culture war” is about. It has everything to do with people being able to be free and independent or enslaved in a Marxist police state. : )

God is within us. If we look outside of ourselves, we will not find Him.

So, uh, how did the god that is within you get out to create the universe? Just asking!

“Have you ever wondered where in the world is GOD”

In us by the fullness of the Holy Spirit, to make a better world.

Then one day, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, will appear, and as happened 2000 years ago, many will continue in unbelief Pride, claim it a trick, claim those that disappeared have hid in the mountains, claim a cyber fake, and once again rile to Babel and Golden Calf led away by the One who once was adorned with God’s greatest light among the sons of heaven who time ago attempted to Lift himself up and claim himself to be God.

Are you certain that He had to get out of me or anything else in order to do that?

His true nature is beyond us, but that is where you will find Him, jda, all you need to do is look.

EYOV
(Book of Job)
Chapter 38
Eyov 37

1
Then HaShem answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:
2
Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
3
Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto Me.

4
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast the understanding.
5
Who determined the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who stretched the line upon it?
6
Whereupon were the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner-stone thereof,
7
When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of G-d shouted for joy?
8
Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it broke forth, and issued out of the womb;
9
When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
10
And prescribed for it My decree, and set bars and doors,
11
And said: ‘Thus far shalt thou come, but no further; and here shall thy proud waves be stayed’?

12
Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days began, and caused the dayspring to know its place;
13
That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it?
14
It is changed as clay under the seal; and they stand as a garment.
15
But from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm is broken.
16
Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? Or hast thou walked in the recesses of the deep?
17
Have the gates of death been revealed unto thee? Or hast thou seen the gates of the shadow of death?
18
Hast thou surveyed unto the breadths of the earth? Declare, if thou knowest it all.
19
Where is the way to the dwelling of light, and as for darkness, where is the place thereof;
20
That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?
21
Thou knowest it, for thou wast then born, and the number of thy days is great!
22
Hast thou entered the treasuries of the snow, or hast thou seen the treasuries of the hail,
23
Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
24
By what way is the light parted, or the east wind scattered upon the earth?

25
Who hath cleft a channel for the waterflood, or a way for the lightning of the thunder;
26
To cause it to rain on a land where no man is, on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
27
To satisfy the desolate and waste ground, and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
28
Hath the rain a father? Or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
29
Out of whose womb came the ice? And the hoar-frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
30
The waters are congealed like stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
31
Canst thou bind the chains of the Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
32
Canst thou lead forth the Mazzaroth in their season? Or canst thou guide the Bear with her sons?
33
Knowest thou the ordinances of the heavens? Canst thou establish the dominion thereof in the earth?
34
Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
35
Canst thou send forth lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee: ‘Here we are’?
36
Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who hath given understanding to the mind?
37
Who can number the clouds by wisdom? Or who can pour out the bottles of heaven,
38
When the dust runneth into a mass, and the clods cleave fast together?
EYOV
(Book of Job)
Chapter 40
Eyov 39

1
Moreover HaShem answered Job, and said:
2
Shall he that reproveth contend with the Almighty? He that argueth with G-d, let him answer it.
3
Then Job answered HaShem, and said:
4
Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer Thee? I lay my hand upon my mouth.
5
Once have I spoken, but I will not answer again; yea, twice, but I will proceed no further.

6
Then HaShem answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:
7
Gird up thy loins now like a man; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto Me.
8
Wilt thou even make void My judgment? Wilt thou condemn Me, that thou mayest be justified?
9
Or hast thou an arm like G-d? And canst thou thunder with a voice like Him?
10
Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency, and array thyself with glory and beauty.
11
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath; and look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.
12
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
13
Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in the hidden place.
14
Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.

What if God is looking for souls willing to carry His cross?

What if God's hand is actually more involved than we can possibly know?

What if we are being tested for our faithfulness especially when we have never seen Him face to face?

Right where WE need Him to be.

God is exactly where He is supposed to be. The truth is that man acts and that is NOT God’s fault. Why should I blame God for others free will?

Or what if Jesus returns time and again over and over
(how many comings can you find in just the new testament?)
What if when He comes He’s riding the White Horse of WAR
or on the winds of Sandy or Katrina because we ignore Him as creator and kill His unborn creation before they even have the chance to think if He exists or not?
I think this is called Judgement.

I learned early in my Christian faith, The will of man is stronger than the will of God. He gives us all we need, what do with his his gifts has sadly been left up to us.......h
His people have failed him.

God already did His part .. He entered into the world by way of a virgin in order to be free of sin - He suffered and died on the cross, willingly taking our sins upon himself - He entered into the bowels of hell and took back the keys of hell and death from Satan (who had stolen them from Adam).

God’s waiting on you!

You are the one who said your god could only be found within us, except now you say he is beyond us. I'm not sure your god is my God.

My God is the I AM - He always has been and always will be. He created the universe and all that is in it. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. His Son gave up His place in heaven to come to earth to suffer for my sins so that am seen as holy and righteous by God. He sent His Spirit to live within those who know Him, but His Spirit is not limited by anything, especially my humaness. He is found by simply seeking Him, not inside me, because He is all around us.

His answer would be no. Without free will we’d have no choice but to love Him, and God knows THAT is not real love. The most important thing from all of this entire existence is genuine love between God and His people. It will endure everything, including death.

This reminds me of a family member that said she's been praying for answers in her love life while fornicating with her boyfriend. I told her "How could you expect an answer from God while sinning in His face?" She looked all befuddled at me because she "knew" she was Christian.

As we murder 50 million babies, approve of sodomy, steal from "the rich", and then elect rapists, liars and non believers as leaders, you shouldn't have to ask why our buildings are falling down and our economy is collapsing. God is where He has always been, the question should be "Where are we?" When Israel moved away from God, they were destroyed. Kinda like that sowing and reaping thingy.

As this guy proves, even those that claim Christ, are clueless as to how God works. In the end, the whole world is judged, and it gets pretty bad for most.

We ignore God, we slander His name, we make fun of Him, we reject his Messiah, and then we expect Him to bless us. Hey, it’s not like He didn’t warn us of the end times when people would be selfish, proud, arrogant, ungodly and unfeeling. But, regardless of how wicked we, as a nation, are — we still expect Him to bless us and protect us. I wouldn’t respect a God like that. Why do we always blame God for the things we do, ourselves? THAT is unjust and unfair of US. Where are WE when God needs US (to tell the world about HIM).
