Watching is a total waste of time.

I agree. That's one reason I never watch TV, period. I can get more than enough essence from these shows (and that's what these are, shows, they certainly don't qualify as news) by just reading this thread.

I mostly watch C-Span. In the morning they have Washington Journal. They read from different Newspapers, ask a question and let the viewers call in with their opinion. The hosts never give their own opinion about anything.

They do have guests and will ask them questions and viewers call in with their own questions.

When the House is in, no matter what they are showing, C-Span cuts to it.

In a few minutes, they come in and get started.
No matter what they say on some show, you get the real deal on C-Span.

C-Span2 has the Senate. Most of the time, they are in a quorum call. But they really get down to it when arguing about a bill.
