His suggestion was to the Christian and religious communities, that they take a greater interest in the schooling of children. After all, they do a lot of missionary work and the establishing of free schools in foreign countries, so why not turn some of that inward, HERE, and actually compete with the public schools by offering free education?....I wish....

Don't hold your breath waiting for the Christian churches to step up and do their duty before God. Why?

Answer:

1) Too many ministers have spouses working in the godless government schools.

2) Too many government indoctrinators ( oops! "teachers") sitting in the pews along with all the vendors to the schools. Few ministers will bite the hand putting money in the collection plate. ,i>
