It’s just me but since he gave us the finger I wouldn’t promote his book at all. Love him but he likes FB and twitter. I’ll never go to either to follow him.
Like I said that’s just me and I ain’t nobody.
You can always post your own thread and not promote it there.

How was it better than it is?
We used to get 500-600 posts on a good night, I think the record was 800
something, 200-300 on a slow night.
And that was when he only had a 2 hour show.

But when the show was 2-hours you could sit and post on the thread until the end. Who has 3 hours to do that? By the third hour, most of us, including myself, are off doing other things that we have to do. It doesn’t mean we’re not listening, just that we don’t have the luxury of sitting still.
It’s not that the thread is losing readers, FR is losing members due to the recent purges - just sayin.
Also, a few of the old members have departed earth for heaven, I’m sure.
It’s complicated. A lot of factors that all made the perfect storm so to speak.
Excellent point. A couple of old “regulars” here have left because of what FR has become.
Yeah, Bahbah and Just Lori passed, they were big contributors.
Several lost their jobs.
Then there was “the fight”.
Did CP sit-in for the Huckster today? Did you listen?
JimRob has had purges almost every year since I’ve been here - most were just brutal, many peeps got insulted and hurt feelings.
I learned my first year here to just say no to the purge threads
FR has always been sort of rough and tumble if ya get my drift, used to be a ritual to humiliate noobs first post without mercy

I’m pretty sure CP said he was subbing for the Huckster 12-3 tomorrow. I’m going to listen if he subs instead of Rush’s boring sub Mark Belling.
Yep, we have lost a lot of contributors to the purges, the Romney ones of late I know many who quit FR all together. FF only posts on this thread anymore.
When I joined FR it was the height of the Terry Schiavo mess. It was a trip.
I agree with him, let it go, let it crash quickly so we can get back to what we do best - the business of producing
