So the guy tries to sabotage the interview, apparently. The host could have argued with the guy, but chose to end the exchange.

I hope the guy's book sales flop.

If the Media isn't interested in the story, then we are obviously being nothing but political (sarcasm). I don't know why anyone would join this Admin in any capacity. The only important person in the world in The Won. Everyone else is expendable in his pursuit of the destruction of our beloved USA.

I’m sure that no one needs to read his book to know what’s in it. He clearly showed his “leanings” in the interview.

My only surprise is that FOX even had him on.

Now did the interviewer end it abruptly or was there a network suit screaming into his earpiece "go to commercial before I come out there and throttle the sonofabitch!"

Ricks and his fellow travelers will declare his attack on Fox to be a great victory, much like the towel heads who got their butts kicked recently by Israel. Expect them to begin firing their guns into the air, ululating all the while.

Isn’t it funny, that to question the President’s motive and lies about Benghazi (a job the media used to do) equates to being political... GD the left and all they stand for, why do we even give them a platform...

My only regret is that we don’t see this type of response toward the liberal press. Conservatives feel they must be ladies and gentlemen when doing interviews and they’re having their words twisted around anyhow. Conservatives need to start a school for politians on how to do interviews. The Air Force had one in the Pentagon when I was there in the 1980s.

I've seen FoxNews end interviews abruptly and too quickly even with conservative and nonconfrontational guests. It might have been partly a contentious guest, but also a timing problem where they went long in a previous segment. I'm so sick of the mock outrage from the libs.

Communist hate FOX?...The only fair and balanced news in America?
Just ask that lardo with suspenders (BOb Bekel?), Allen Colmes, and the other assorted Commies on FOX, about bias.
That being said, I am fortunate to have only FOX for US news.

I don’t think news programs do this enough. When a guest shows up and refuses to address the questions, choosing instead to just regurgitate prepackaged talking points then he or she should be given the zot. I want to hear thoughtful discussion not mindless propaganda.

Ricks asserted the incident amounted to a "small firefight"....

Amazing. So that's going to be the narrative now. All this was much ado about nothing and only the nutty GOP would be concerned about it.

Having an American diplomatic facility destroyed and ransacked, the American Ambassador and one of his aides killed and the Ambassador's body paraded through the streets, and two American security force members killed after hours of nearly single-handed combat...why, that's nothing. What's to get upset about?

The liberals are filled with rage. They won the WH, seats in the Senate, and House, and they are still filled with rage. No doubt, this situation will not end well. The liberals are tipping their hand, and our side is falling in line like little puppies, and still there is rage coming from the liberals. Always knew the liberals wanted it all, and soon anyone disagreeing with liberals, will be an outlaw. This planet has moved quickly to the 1930s. A prayer God will stop the slide, of this planet, on the razor blade toward the pool of alcohol. Too bad the liberals haven’t awaken to the fact that they too are on that razor blade.

Ah, the “Fox is an arm of the Republican Party” talking point. So fresh and new. Maybe they threw him off for his inability to say anything interesting.

This is the very first thing that jumped into my head. Don't agree with their politics, but this fits so well with what we have seen.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Nighttime For The Generals
Songwriters: DOERGE/CROSBY

Well, it's nighttime and the long cars
Are arriving at the door
The general is having another party
With a congressman or three
And some guys you never see outside the bank

There's a laughing clink of glasses
And a polished click of boots
Bitter talk of a country
With a weakness in its roots

And it's nighttime for the generals
The boys at the C.I.A
Power gone mad in the darkness
Thinking they're God on a good day
They giveth, they taketh
They like to take it away

"Well the fools don't know the difference
It's for their own good", they said
And they shot blind Lady Liberty
In the back of her head

NIGHTTIME FOR THE GENERALS
Listen

Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.

A small firefight is a quick ambush or skirmish that ends as soon as you call in air support, certainly in under an hour (thank you USAF!!!). This was a sustained, organized terrorist attack on an American ambassador, and the Community-Organizer-in-Chief chose to do nothing for seven hours - long enough that Obama could have played two rounds of golf if he hadn’t been so busy raising funds for his political campaign, long enough that the terrorists could rape our ambassador before killing him.

Uh, huh. I guess Ricks never watches any of the other networks, which are clearly in the tank for the Democratic party.

Tom Ricks is a good writer and has written a number of interesting books. I highly recommend his book about the surge in Iraq. That being said, I’ve always suspected he’s a lefty. I believe the fight at the consulate in Benghazi lasted hours. No where in my Marine Corps training was a fight lasting hours characterized as a “small firefight”.

Interestingly, Ricks wrote a book about 15 years ago called “The Making of the Corps” about Marine Corps boot camp. The boot camp part and the changes implemented since Commandant Grey was very instructional. However, in the second part of the book, Ricks complained how the military (especially the officer corps) are way too conservative and how this is deterimental to the country. The whole time I’m reading this, I’m asking myself. What about your profession Mr. Ricks? Who is by trade a reporter. Is it more deterimental to the country to have a conservative minded military or a left wing press who are sychophants to liberal politicians?

Ricks asserted the incident amounted to a "small firefight" and said, "I think that the emphasis on Benghazi has been extremely political, partly because Fox was operating as a wing of the Republican Party."

I cannot imagine Ricks writing anything meaningful when he cannot connect the dots. So Benghazi was nothing more than a "small firefight" with only four white guys killed? What is the big deal Rick says? The heroes gave their lives to save thirty or more trapped members of the embassy staff. Why was their request for available support turned down?

Is Ricks emboldened because Obama won? Is Ricks a Democrat hack looking for a job in the Obama administration?

If it was “just a small firefight”, then why did Obama, Clinton, & Rice spend so much energy lying about the video as motive?
