You are right that there are some good teachers. There are also some really evil teachers working along side the good ones.
The problem for parents and society at large is that it may not be worth continuing with an out-dated, self serving, humanist (amoral) institution that permits good and evil the “right” to hang out with other people’s children.
If parents had the freedom of vouchers, the good and the evil (parents and teachers) would segregate themselves from one another. That is the best we can hope for in rescuing future generations.
Evidently there are NO “good” teachers at the school in this article, or they would have been there helping the kids.
So?....Why should parents send children to a government school were there are only bad ( actually evil) government teachers?
If these parents were wise this school would be immediately shut down because all the kids would be immediately removed from the influence of the entirely “bad” staff of ( evil) government teachers.
By the way, Gabz, no amount of volunteering in the schools, or hours spent on a school board, can fix a teacher's evil heart. That can only be accomplished by the individual teacher. Reforms up the wazoo won't remake an evil teacher into a good one. The only option is to remove the children from their influence.
By the way,...Ok, there may be a few “good” government teachers out there somewhere in Neverland. So?....It is OK to feed children the poison dished out by the evil teachers? Is a lot of evil tempered with a lick of goodness OK? ( Personally, I don't think so.)
