Police Remove Congressman-Elect Grayson From Local Walmart For Union Agitating
Watchdog Wire ^ | November 26, 2012 | Tom Tillison

Posted on 11/27/2012 8:17:47 AM PST by Kaslin

In spite of the embarrassing antics on full display during his first term in Congress, the voters in Florida’s CD09 saw fit to send Alan Grayson back to Washington, D.C.

Naturally, the extreme elements of the far left supported Grayson’s return to office, but so too did many of our friends and neighbors. Perhaps even family members. He was also a recipient of overwhelming support from the Hispanic community, particularly those of Puerto Rican descent. And labor unions.

There’s no doubt he also received a fair share of votes from the disaffected and disengaged for the sheer entertainment value such a buffoon presents.

And Grayson wasted little time in making it clear that his second stint at playing a lawmaker will be no less mortifying than the first when he spent Thanksgiving night agitating Walmart workers on behalf of organized labor and disrupting the early start to Black Friday holiday shopping.

Union-backed groups OUR Walmart and Making Change at Wal-Mart were calling for an employee walkout during Black Friday.

In the typical theatrics that define the far left, our newly elected Congressman was handing out turkey sandwiches and letters explaining the right to organize to employees at a local Walmart, forcing management to call the police to have him escorted off the property.

One Walmart employee did walk off the job, although it’s not clear if this was staged beforehand.

How nice, huh? A fine representative of sleepy little Orlando… with one small exception, the only ones who appear to be sleeping in this town are conservatives.

It’s also worth noting that labor unions, primarily public sector unions, are the number one contributors to Grayson, donating hundreds of thousands of dollars.

As for private sector unions, while the media continues to perpetuate the myth that they are still relevant, the truth is less than 7% of private sector employees are now union members.

Companies understand that unions put them at a competitive disadvantage and may even force them into bankruptcy in the never-ending quest to get more for their members, regardless of how poor a financial decision it may be for a company. Case in point, Hostess.

In fact, while there was a time in America that labor unions played an important role, it’s fair to question if they’ve outlived their usefulness in this country. Perhaps, more companies need to follow in the foot steps of Hostess to bring unions back to earth. Something union leaders – individuals making six-figure salaries while forever pushing the class warfare narrative – fully understand, which is why there is so much emphasis on organizing in the public sector and giving the Democratic Party money hand over fist to help facilitate this growth.

Negotiating with government officials who have no bottom line and no competition is the best of all possible worlds for unions. And to top it all off, most of the government officials involved in the negotiations are Democrats. A real cycle of convenience.

Meanwhile, the statement “we get the government we deserve” proves to be ever so true. Just ask the folks in Osceola and SE Orange County.

An elected Congressman who gets arrested for just about anything should lose his seat.

I’m serious. The more you think about a “law maker” breaking the law the worse it seems.

I take it that since the mainstream media has been silent about “The Great Wal-Mart Strike” after hyping it all the way up to black Friday, that it must have been a colossal bust?

Oh, not at all! Just like the great Cynthia McKinney before him, his antics will do more far more for Conservative fundraiser and getting out the vote than any possible damage he could ever do as a peon freshman Representative of the minority party.

Sad day in America that the people who are supposed leaders are scumbags and crooks.

I no longer want to hear about fixin’ it in 2016. It will not be fixed anymore at the polls because the corrupt and lawless control the polls.

A more despicable human being I have yet to meet. How the people could have voted for him amazes me.

Why don’t we start a union, only make it conservative. Use all the funds for conservative causes and bribing politicians for conservative laws.

Basically emulate what the AFL-CIO does only for freedom.

The 47+% are sitting out there like a big steaming pile of dog poop just waiting to send their bigger pieces to positions of power.

It ain't gonna stop until some way is found so that people without "skin in the game" cannot vote .....until they can prove that they are positively supporting the system.....

..or the tax system changes so that nobody can escape supporting the system..

The simple fact is that we got creamed on November 6 with a business school candidate and a terrible campaign. Axelrod said yesterday that he was amazed that Romney did not go after Obama harder personally and instead ran a campaign on an economy 95% of the electorate doesn’t understand. In the Senate, same same. Tipp O’Neil said “all politics is local.” He was wrong. All politics is personal and we blew it while the Dems used vicious tactics to claim that Romney would take-away all the stuff they like from government. Repubs may be extinct in 2016.

He is a real piece of work. Our military men and women face being discharged with no benefits for being unsuitable for far less then what this jerk did. The Army or any service will convene a suitability evaluation board. Congress should face the same.I find his actions totally unsuitable for a US congressmen.

It seems to me that a small group of officers sent in to bust up such a protest, could really sport Grayson as only cops can do.

For example, there are tricks that can be used when arresting someone, that turn the arrest into “resisting arrest”. Then the instant that he “resists”, Taser him.

Once Tasered, thoroughly bind him up and put him in the back of a patrol car, and if he is unconscious, drench him with whiskey, so he really reeks. Lose the shoes and socks.

Then take him to the jail on a charge of public intoxication and drunk and disorderly, maybe throw in the ha-ha charge of indecent exposure. Be sure to arrange a bunch of photos with his hair messed up, hopefully while still unconscious.

Once he is booked, and his identity “officially” known, then immediately release him and give him a ride home, without a breathalyzer or other sobriety test, and dropping all arrest charges.

And then discreetly post the photos on the Internet.
