That’s the one. Houston local. Recently sydicated to Portland, Memphis, Baton Rouge, Albany. Fearless red-blooded redneck good-ol-boy. Former attorney and Houston city councilman.

Entertaining as hell, though. Leans to the libertarian on some issues ... but, completely intellectually honest and totally fearless. Doesn’t shy away from speaking very frankly on race, which is more than I can say for most conservative hosts (including Rush in some cases).

Give him a shot. He is the first host I can ever recall almost preferring over Rush himself. He’d be a hell of a replacement when Rush hangs it up.

I am getting sick and tired of repubs saying to cave in to O just because we will get the blame for all taxes going up. I say, let the Bush tax cuts expire and hammer everyone. Then put the “miss me yet” billboards back up.

They can blam the current R’s all they want, but the reality is that this is what was on the D platform, so it will be easy for me as a Conservative to simply respond to their blame with, “Reap the whirlwind slaves.”

Harvey told police she did not know the last name of the person who stole the items but said he was wearing a Baltimore Ravens jacket and had green hair.

I did some quick figerrin and assuming the numbers below:

Fed Budget = $3.7T
Fed tax revenue = $2.4T
Fed Debt = $16T
Buffet Rule revenue increase $4.7B

This would equal the following, if the average family were in the same boat as the federal gov’t.

Annual Income = $60K
Annual Spending = $90K
Current Credit Card debt = $400K

This family decides to take control and they get an extra job to add to their income (buffet tax) so they go and earn $117, yes one hundred and seventeen dollars for the entire year.

Just sayin.
