That Alaska frontier program is really good! On one yesterday one of the groups was using a pressure cooker/canner like you got. Mrs p6 and her brother were really impressed and are thinking about one for the farm.

They’ll keep the globull warming charade going as long as they can use it to control the population. Did you hear about the UFO’s seen over Shelocta, Pa on Nov. 16th? I was not aware of it until yesterday when a co-worker of Mr S’ told him about it. Coincidentally, there was several military helicopters flying around our area that day!
I don’t know about that whole UFO thing. I’ve seen a couple of really strange things in my lifetime though.....
I’m Polish on my mom’s side. I was raised on cabbage and sauerkraut. I love it! I could eat a bowl of steamed cabbage with just some butter, salt and pepper and I’d be happy. Add some mashed potatoes and I’d be in heaven!
Yes! Isn’t that Alaska show great?! We’ve learned a lot just watching it. I’d love that life style if I had the knowledge and was in better shape. Mr S & I decided we wouldn’t last a week up there. They live off the land.
There’s a 16 Qt canner as well. I didn’t realize the one I got was so BIG!!! Too much for two, really, but we can do a lot of jars at once. I’m a little intimidated, but my mom used to pressure cook a lot when I was a kid.
So there’s a possibility that Rick Santorum can again in 2016.
Didn’t hear about the ufo’s...I’ll have to track that down. Interestingly enough around Nov 16th there were several incidents of that strsnge noise overnight at the station. A co worker even heard it. I tried to record it but it just wasn’t loud enough.
Rose is right about not giving up. We have been called to keep up the fight. This is no time to back down.
I got an e-mail about the next meeting of the Indiana/Armstrong Patriots. Julie, the vice-pres of the organization, said they were meeting in her office in Shelocta unless they got a greater response. Well, I got an e-mail yesterday - they got an overwhelming response and had to book a larger place! Everybody is angry and ready to fight!
Which reminds me - all you in Pennsylvania - call Gov Corbett’s office today and say NO to the healthcare exchanges!

So the Dims have rounded up an opponent for the gone squishy Tom Corbett. Other than the Burgh and Philly (and I’m supposing this guy is melon challenged) why is Corbett (given the voting record of the rest of the Commonwealth) not STAYING THE CONSERVATIVE COURSE!?! Our energy future is in Corbetts hands. And what about PA’s Voter ID Law (the states that Romney won ALL had Voter ID!!!)
Ok rant off...yes—I HAD heard about the UFO sitings (in a round about way)...but I had also read the they were ‘splained away as military...but why? Over PA? it made me to hmmmm...if you learn anything more, P6 please FRmail me (if you don’t want to publicly post) because I really do “follow” these things. I haven’t heard the “sky” sounds since summer—as an explanation—there was pipeline building at the time from New Stanton thru Jeanette to Washington County—so I wonder if that was what I kept hearing?

I suspect military as well. Shelocta is the site of the Keystone Generating station - coal powered, NOT nuclear. The UFO conspiracy sites said it was nuclear.
And doesn’t it seem strange that a lot of UFO sightings are close to military bases? Testing new technology, perhaps?

Yesterday was not a happy day here. Seems like there was bad news everywhere. A friend of mine who is in poor health and financially troubled...who isn’t...called to tell me her husband is in very bad shape.
A few weeks ago her husband who has heart problems fell at Shop n Save and hit his head. They rushed him to a hospital but his heart condition prevented any major treatment. They stabilized him and said he would need major surgery on his head and neck.
While they were waiting to get him strong enough he had a problem and fell into severe dementia. Sometimes he thinks he’s still in a war zone...thinks he’s a general...swears uncontrolably..and has to be restrained. They are going to put him in a home but the medicare only lasts for a month.
He does qualify for vets care but apparently the vets center is very backed up. So my friend is distraught and not sure how things will turn out.
A very sad story.

Oh no - that’s incredibly sad! It breaks my heart that our veterans don’t get the care they need IMMEDIATLY. Our government puts in money in stupid stuff, and takes away funds for our military and veteran’s needs. It angers me!

Ahhh...I see it’s only by phone not face to face. Too bad. If it were in person alone together in a room with me for an hour she would run away screaming and crying as so many other women who have been alone with me have done.
Oh my—an hour w/Sandy Fluke (I bet it bugs her to be called anything but SandRA!). Heck...I think I could make her cry (using mom skills!)
Sorry to hear of your friend’s husband. Dementia (Alzheimer’s) is awful. My late m-I-l had to be restrained in a wheel chair during day& in her bed at night at the end. She kept falling & rolling off of things; and was getting hurt (badly bruised...but amazing NO broken hip or other bones, but she did break her nose...go figure that). Hope that his care situation can be arranged (VA?)...no one person (spouse) can handle all that.
