This was a very good reference. To me it gives the impression that parents will be able to keep their kids on their insurance until 26, not that they MUST if the “child” is living on their own. Though I suppose you could read between the lines and interpret it that way...
If you don’t let them in, the nearest judge does.
But make them go to the judge.
Meanwhile, if you’re a member of heritage defense and get their lawyers on the line, the CPS will know they can’t just do a fishing expedition.

Nothing in writing; they just simply refused to remove the individual from the insured’s plan, saying it would be illegal for them to do so under ACA.
Actually it has been a boon having the secondary since I have had several MRIs, CTs, nerve ablations, injections, studies, ER trips (several via ambulance because I couldn’t walk), and surgeries since. To date, I have not had any lumbar surgery, but have had 2 C-spine surgeries, hip surgery, another hip surgery on the way, gall bladder removal, tons of PT and a hernia surgery. So in the end I pay nothing out of pocket, whereas I would be in the poor house otherwise.
Like I said, I’m not complaining. I did find the HR response curious when I originally asked the question though.
Omg, that’s a lot of diagnostics and repair work!
HR response did seem weird.
