Russian mufti calls on cadets to be ready to fight enemy anywhere (especially the USA)

Moscow, November 29, Interfax - Chairman of the All-Russian Council of Muftis' Executive Committee Mukhammedgali Khuzin has called on military students of the Cadet Corps to be ready to repulse enemy attacks anywhere, including in the United States if necessary.

"The time may come when you may not only have to defend your homeland ,but also to curb enemy sorties on their own territory. May be some day you will march along the streets of Washington like our forefathers marched along the Champs Elysees," he said in his speech to military students of the Perm Cadet Corps during the oath-taking ceremony on Thursday.

In an interview with Interfax-Religion later in the day, he said that "as a patriot of his country", he was obliged to "remind the cadets of the glorious victories won by the Russian army". In his opinion, the cadets should uphold those glorious traditions.

"Russia has never fought invasive wars, but it has always been able to defend itself. When I was speaking about a march along the streets of Washington, I implied, in the first place, the defense of our Motherland both in Russian and enemy territory," the mufti explained.

It should be borne in mind that Russia has an external enemy whose methods that are more sophisticated than arms, he said, citing the recent statement by the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, who called Russia the main foe of Islam.

"It is no secret that this man is a puppet in the hands of reactionary political circles displeased with Russia's foreign policy," Khuzin said.

"The Great America, whose people and achievements have my respect, will be able to protect itself: it has rich experience of 'peacekeeping' combat operations in other countries' territory. And who will protect Russia, given repeated outside attempts over centuries to ruin the neighborly relations reigning between our various ethnic and religious communities, something that always made us strong?" the mufti asked.

He mentioned another example from history: when during a Russian-Turkish war, an Ottoman ruler called on Russian Muslims to support him and rebel against Russia, "the Muslims did not become traitors".

"Let us recall more often the examples of friendship between the peoples of Russia. Then, I am sure, no one will have to march through anyone's cities," the mufti said.

Mufti Gainutdin rejects claims Russia is hostile to Islam - November 21, 2012 - The head of Russia's Muftis Council Ravil Gainutdin disagrees with claims that Russia is Islam's worst enemy.

"Unfortunately, some claim today that Russia is the number one enemy of the Muslims," he told the European Islamic Council in Istanbul.

The Russian leadership has said on many occasions that millions of Russian citizens professing Islam are part of the Islamic world, he said.

The deep and large-scale revival of Islam, observed in our country for the past two decades, is vivid proof of these worlds. Muslim organizations can feel the government's support in various areas, from sponsorship of Islamic education to the financing of Muslim community projects," Gainutdin said.

Dozens of mosques, madrasahs and Muslim cultural centers and universities are built in Russia each year. Muslim women living in Russia were the first in the Muslim world to have won the right to have their photos taken for the passport wearing the hijab, the mufti said.

"Whereas Europe is curtailing religious freedoms, Russia, on the contrary, is making consistent steps to defend believers' rights and feelings," he said.

All-Russian...? sounds like an antiquated convention now. Why not call themselves pan-global and ditch the national loyalty pretense.

Hah, that’s a good one. The citizens of all those countries that found themselves enslaved behind the communist Iron Curtain certainly did not consider themselves liberated.

Why would the now communist America still be a perceived enemy or threat of Russia? Hell, today under the obozo the US is more dictatorial communist than Russia so one would think America would be more of an ally.

Remember that Russia invaded Poland right along with Nazi Germany in 1939.

Not to worry - Moslems worldwide have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that their only interest in fighting is to murder by night unarmed women, children, and old men, and to attack only those who are unarmed and unsuspecting.

If Russia wants to make a home for these cowardly thugs, then more power to ‘em. They can take ‘em all, and good riddance.

I wonder how many Muslim Russians fought against Napoleon, and whether a single one of them marched into Paris in 1814.

On invasive wars. This sure dates me but I don't mind. It was nearing Christmas 1939 in England. The newspaper was the Evening Standard. On the front page was a grainy picture, it showed figures against gaunt wooden dwellings. They appeared to be running, the buildings were ablaze. I asked my mother if it was the Germans bombing. I do not remember what she said, but I do remember the name of the city. Russians not Germans. It was Helsinki, Finland.

I checked up via Google. The Russians launched and attack on Finland 13 November 1939. Ill equiped as they were they forced the Finns to a treaty and the Finns lost 11% of their pre war territory. It ended in March 1940.

We are aware the Grand Mufti, Hitler's chum, many years ago. Hopefully that beady eyed ex KGB gentleman, has his boys looking out for the likes of the Mufti.
