Glenn interviewed seemingly the only politician with a spine on radio today, Senator Rand Paul. While many Republicans are displaying a readiness to just throw out everything they said they believed in and cave to Obama, Sen. Paul is trying to hold the line. Personally, I could care less Rand calls himself a republican. It is much more important with whom he caucasus’s, what his ideas are, is he principled and does Rand hold to his convictions.
At last check, the “republican” brand is ready to cave on preventing tax hikes, waffling on securing spending cuts and continues to nominate losing milk toast candidates. I submit the republican label/brand has bigger, more pressing issues if the current group caves and fails to hold the line.
The GOP dies out right when converatives leave your a$$es to fend for your big gubmit Socialist's table scraps.

Where can you get “free” pot? It will never be “free” so long as demand exists. All those nut cases who want to ban pot have their heads in sand. It is available on every city street corner in America. Just like how Al Capone became filthy rich by selling illegal booze during “prohibition”, the criminals are only ones profiting from the pot trade. May be these nut cases who are against legalizing pot are in the selling business of pot?
Disclaimer: I am Medicare age and have never smoked pot or used anything illegal. My reason: I value my health and am wise enough to realize it. I don’t even drink alcohol anymore. Never smoked. May why I can still jog 3+ miles.

Well I do. For the present, regardles of the occasional (mainly NE part of country) liberals....”Republican” is synominous with “Conservative”....at least in the eyes of the public.

Do you not remember the ABO campaigners on this forum, almost all the non Libertarian loons, finally jumped on the Romney wagon. Beck did warm up to the only candidate we had, but Romney was at the bottom of his choices, just above Gingrich, for different reasons.

... You are playing on words. What I said was true. Beck supported Romney. Rush supported Romney. Newt supported Romney. Hannity supported Romney. then now or later.. You can dance around it all day long...I don’t listen to Beck any longer but I read he was very cozy for Romney. I don’t respect Beck after he was cozy to gay marriage. I hope he does not pick the candidate the next time. Why can’t you respect that.
These should be restricted to the same degree as the addictive mind-altering legal drug alcohol: sale only with a license, no sale to minors, etc. The War On Drugs is failing in all the ways that alcohol Prohibition failed.
(And as far as "anything new that science can come up with": they come up with new drugs because those new drugs are legal until law catches up; there will be fewer if any new drugs if they no longer enjoy that legal advantage.)

Not all of their views are bad, I know that. But, the do what you want is too far off for my traditional upbringing. I don't understand why they preach this, though what someone does in their own homes, is their business, why should the rest of us, be conditioned or be made to go along with what is against the founding of the soul of America. I can't live with a theory that I can have it both ways.
