The Senate has passed a measure that prevents terrorist detainees from being transferred to facilities on U.S. soil, a day after it was revealed a prominent Democrat had commissioned a federal report to identify U.S. locations that may be suitable for housing Guantanamo prisoners.
The measure, which was introduced by Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., was approved by a vote of 54 to 41 late Thursday.
Ayotte argued that the facilities at Guantanamo Bay are "singularly equipped" to handle terrorist prisoners, calling the prison "top-rate."

Obama needs to just have all the prisoners at Gitmo exectuted. This solves his problem and let’s him go ahead and close the base and turn it back over to Cuba. This is what Jimma Cahta would do (like the Panama Canal).
How can we execute the inmates without anyone knowing about it? Mass Muslim Suicide?
“...In other news, a shocking story of a coordinated mass suicide at Gitmo...Allah Akbar and all that....One inmate reportedly shot himself in the head twice to ensure his complete demise....”
“All the detaineese at Gitmo have reportedly beaten themselves to death with government provided Korans in a show of protest against their detention. The investigation has confirmed it was a mass Muslim suicide.”
Many that have been released and sent to their home country under the Obama administrations insistence have been a complete disaster, they have just gotten a free pass to continue their jihad.
Good thing they put in the word detainee, or we would loose Air force one.
Thats a nice plane.
Comes complete with a 150 million dollar soccer field.
Looks like Obama wanted the terrorist transferred to facilities on U.S. so they could train others?.
Even in one party governments, they’ll still surprise you once in a while.
We may see a number of instances of this over the next four years.
Good for Ayotte.
