Conservative Grassroots Activists Launch pro-Rubio Site

A group of Conservative grassroots activists have launched a new pro-Marco Rubio website dedicated to electing him president of the United States in 2016, 4 years before the elections take place.

The Mission Statement states: The Republican Party needs a strong conservative leader to take our message to the American people of smaller government, a strong foreign policy, low taxes and a balanced budget. Our message is the right one, but it is being lost in the mist of a biased media and uninformed electorate. We do NOT have to moderate, we need to modernize and market. Market our ideas and our values without the filters that for decades our message has been put thru by those in the press.

Our goal, for the next 4 years, it to elect Marco Rubio president of the United States in 2016. A modern, conservative, well-spoken leader that can take our message to the masses, expand our base and reach voters in every demographic. The Republican Party needs a leader, Conservatism needs a messenger, and America needs Marco Rubio in 2016.

Marco Rubio, born in the U.S.A. of Cuban Citizen parents, is not eligible to be President. Period.

Three types of citizenship are recognized by our government: native born; naturalized; and citizen-by-statute (derived citizenship from parents). All have equal rights. All can serve in Congress, either as a Representative in the House, or as a Senator in the Senate.
The following link will take you to the government’s own Immigration Service web page describing the three types of citizenship.
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=a2ec6811264a3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=a2ec6811264a3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD

Natural born Citizen is NOT a type of statutory citizenship. Natural born is ONLY an eligibility requirement for the U.S. Presidency per Article II, Section 1, clause 5, of the U.S. Constitution, and requires, as per the Founders, the President to be born in the United States (jus solis) AND of two citizen parents (jus sanguinas).

The definition of natural born Citizen appears in the holding of SCOTUS’s unanimous decision of Minor v. Happersett (1874).

Virginia Minor, a Suffragette, sued to be included as a candidate for U.S. President based on her eligibility under the 14th Amendment to the U.S.Constitution.

SCOTUS rejected her argument and examined her eligibility, concluding that she belonged to the class of citizens who, being born in the U.S. of citizen parents, was a natural born Citizen, and not covered by the 14th Amendment. This holding has been used in 25 consequent SCOTUS decisions since 1875.

No one has the RIGHT to be President.

The eligibility requirement of Natural Born Citizenship (jus solis + jus sanguinas: born in the U.S. of U.S. citizen parents) must be viewed as a means to prevent split allegiance for any President of the United States.

The following is often used to support people like Rubio who seek to be President, but it was superceded centuries ago and is a false argument.

“The First U.S. Congress included in the 1790 Immigration & Naturalization Act language to alert the State Department to the fact that Americans born abroad are (“natural born” citizens” and are not to be viewed as foreigners due to foreign birth. They were not granted citizenship via that US statute rather their automatic citizenship was stated as a fact that must be recognized by immigration authorities. They were not citizens by any other means than natural law, and statutory law was written to insure that their natural citizenship was recognized.”

This is not a reasonable explanation. It fails to recognize that Congress only has powers over naturalization. Congress has no power to define “natural born Citizen”, which has nothing to do with naturalization. Furthermore, if Congress wants to tell the State Department something, they don’t have to enact legislation to do it.

But more important is that all of the following naturalization acts, 1795, 1802, etc., were also passed to naturalize the children of U.S. citizens born abroad. And the words “natural born” were repealed in the 1795 Naturalization Act and never returned again.

That is one logical argument.

But 99% of America, especially the courts and media, think that natural born citizen means being born in the United States. Possibly even hatched or cloned will do. Period.

We definitely need a constitutional convention and a clear definition.

If Roe v. Wade was able to create an entire business sector of abortion on demand in violation of the Declaration of Independence statement “...right to life,...”, I assure you the legal profession is well aware of Minor v. Happersett (1874). They know it and detest it thoroughly as a barrier to Global government.

There is a very good reason why legal experts like Professor Tribe haven't attempted to change the natural born Citizen eligibility requirement through constitutional means. To change it would necessitate widely disseminating the current definition, and result in the attempted change going down in flames.

That is why so many attempts have been made to circumvent, to get around, the constitutional requirements for a change to the U.S.Constitution. It requires time and money to change through the legal recognized manner: votes in Congress and then approval by a majority of states. Communists have resorted to other means.

Barak Hussein Obama II has always claimed he is a native born citizen, never a natural born citizen. He is quite aware that he is not eligible to be President.

We conservatives must uphold the rule of law and the U.S.Constitution. It is easy to be seduced into shredding that document into toilet paper. We shouldn't become the thing we detest in order to defeat communism.

For example, the person currently occupying our White House.

NO!

Not ever!

I luv Marco but, he is not NBC and I will be satisfied with Hillary as POTUSIS before I will capitulate to a globalist agenda that ignores, once again, and undermines the Constitution.

Same for you Jindal.

What a fool you are. Do you seriously think Billary is one iota different than the current marxist in the WH? If so, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you.

Some of you on here are rather low information, aren’t you?

I agree re: the natural born issue—and Rubio’s clear intention to ignore it.

But he is massively pro-amnesty, and if he gets his way on that issue conservatism in the US will be over and done with.
