Possible breakthroughs in Fast and Furious

Katie Pavlich is is reporting that the supervisors involved in F&F are being fired or demoted.

What's especially interesting is the case of Bill McMahon, who took a job in Singapore, I believe, for JP Morgan (which issues the ATF credit cards), nicely getting him beyond the reach of Congressional subpoenas. But he didn't give up his ATF job, he was still listed as an employee on leave, meaning I could return to his old job eventually.

I posted on that -- a Federal employee can only carry over so much annual leave from year to year, I forget now whether it's 20 or 30 days -- how can he have enough leave to hold out for months?

Pavlich reports that he wasn't on leave, he was still drawing his Federal pay, while out of country working for a hefty private sector salary! I could see criminal charges arising out of that one.

240 hours or 30 days. If he carried over 240 last year and did not take any so far this year it could be nearly double that. Not that it has anything to do with their actions, just info.

In special cases, such as being overseas, civil servants can accumulate 360 hours of leave. Agencies can also grant up to six months of leave without pay.

The people responsible for F&F WILL be held accountable. One way or another. The people of this nation are PISSED OFF and are watching what is happening very closely.

Every day I deal with these people. They come in and rant about what is going on and they are at the breaking point. I don’t really blame them though I don’t condone a lot of what I’m hearing and a lot of it is from LE and military folks.

Congress had better do the right thing and they better not stop until all the guilty parties are in prison for conspiracy to commit murder.

I hate to disagree but as with Benghazi not a thing will happen. Maybe in 50 years when the enablers finally expire the truth will come out, but I doubt it.

We need to get a Congress of American citizens willing to search every nook and cranny to find all the shenanigans of these bastards and once and for all "clean house." No more career politicians -- strictly citizen-legislators for as long as it takes to rid our Republic of the Establishment's New Normal

(and the criminals of our own).

I don't think there is any such thing as a 'civil servant' anymore. Most if them died a hundred and fifty years ago. There will come a reckoning, but I suspect none of us who want it now will ever know.

They can carry 240 hrs over - 30 days or 6 weeks of actual leave time. After that there is Leave Without Pay (LWOP)which can keep one on the books but the paycheck stops. Not supposed to happen, but someone might also pull some strings and allow sick leave to be expended and it could be months worth if he has been in for a while.

There is no breakthrough until Holder is in Federal Prison!
