West is way too conservative for anyone other than us Constitutionalists to support him. He makes too much sense for the joe-six-pack/soccor-moms to understand. Plus, he is what the left calls a "plantation negro", not to mention he will never get enough support (funding) from the GOP elite.

I firmly believe this Nation is toast. The takers have won and will never understand nor agree with simple principles like self-sufficiency, work ethic, integrity, pride of accomplishment, opportunity versus guaranteed outcome, et al.

You folks keep looking to the next election to correct things. How'd this last one pan out for you? Myself, I'm now in protect my assets mode with maybe another 15 years of life. Let me know when Revolution 2.0 occurs and then maybe I'll have some hope. Although doubt there could ever be and organized resistance. For me and mine, it's now all about us. I suggest every conservative do the same. The Great Experiment in self-governing is over. Like Alexander Tytler or Franklin said, which neither are proven, but the message is still valid...

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship."

Can anyone on this board argue with that phrase nowadays? Be prepared for the Fedgov to incrementally shift further to total collectivism. In my guestimate, we're about 70% there.
