BEREA, Ohio -- A member of the Cleveland Browns' grounds crew killed himself at their practice facility, the team said in a statement Sunday.
The man's body was found Saturday morning at the facility in suburban Cleveland, the same day Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher committed suicide in front of his coach and general manager after earlier killing his girlfriend.

You know very well that the suicide of a groundskeeper is not the same as the suicide of a linebacker.
odd
Copycat?
Were his last words: “Uh, just a harmless squirrel, not a plastic explosive or anything, nothing to be worried about.” ?
Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Barry Benghazi’s “reelection” has a lot of people really depressed and in a funk these days. Even those who voted for him didn’t think he’d ever win and we would be stuck with four more years of commie bull****. A lot of people, especially Barry voters themselves, were shocked that he “won”. They only voted for him to be polite because they felt bad that Americans were going to throw his ass out of the White House. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!
I've noticed that also -- lots of unhappy faces in my deep-blue neighborhood. You think they'd be singing and dancing (like that fat mostly-naked guy with the pipe in Jan. 2009) that their King was "reelected."

So what do you call it when people end up with what they didn't really want in the first place?
It’s still a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I would hate to hear anyone on FR would take this drastic way out when we have so many people here who understand and yet can always see what’s positive!
Mel
most suicides are caused by either:
divorce/breakup
inescapable usery debt
chronic illness
if it was because his hours were cut back because of Obamacare and he is losing everything , we will never know.
I agree completely. I’m not the type to get up and leave when the going gets tough. I’m staying around until the end and they run me off.
Some people just weren’t meant to be here.
Yes, that’s one difference. But, an even more important difference is that landscapers make the world a more pleasant place.
Karma
LMAO
Wasn’t this posted previously at least three times (everything should be posted multiple times!) under murder/suicide, or is this the first post of another triple?
I know of a much loved freeper who did it
Dang! Did not know that. Although there is plenty of depressing news about - most of it is stuff we have no control over. I advise anyone who has these bad thoughts to seek help. Talk to people and not keep it inside. Professional help is available.
Sorry, my mistake.
Plus you have to remember that there was a lot of voter fraud that help to get Obama re-elected.
If one is 47 years old, and has been dealing with increasingly worse mental health issues since one was about 15, does that sound 'temporary'?
Just a hypothetical.
I’m holding on just to make you all miserable.
:)
Yep, at least one. The one I’m thinking of was a really nice dude, at least here in the cyberworld. Avid gardener who didn’t seem to harbor malice for anyone.
Dec 12, 2003... has it really been that long?

I never forget him ever
Iknow I just went back an hour or so ago and re read his 934 post tribute page again He is still with us in spirit
Ya know...I think you’ve hit on something here.
Where’s all the celebrating? The commies are STILL depressed!
I’m glad you put this down in black and white. I think it’s true...but the commies would NEVER admit it!
Gonna be fun to see them get their ox gored! (ONLY bright spot to the decimation they’ve brought to us all.)
Compared to what? I suppose- believing in God gives me a very long view of things.
Being 52 and having worsening fractures in my back since I was 15 I consider a temporary problem so yes!
Mel
Indeed.
Sadly, I think now there would be a lot less compassion.
Take care Father of the Beeber.

Please don’t get the idea that I do not feel sorry for a person with long term mental illness or that I do not understand that compared to pain mental and emotional distress is can be far more debilitating. It’s more that I never see suicide as a good way out of anything. When I was 14 a man with emotional issues came around to see my Dad. Dad was not home at the time. I knew the man had problems so a I offered for him to wait for Dad.
He said no thanks - drove to a private spot and killed himself. Suicide hurts those left behind far more than a person in distress can appreciate at the time.
