Yeah, if those silly judges can just be made to look the other way on that one itsy-bitsy point, all other tyrannical BS can come crashing through the main gates without anyone else being able to stop Morsi. Such a deal!

I’m surprised it’s taken Morsi this long to go after the judiciary. Usually, when a state formerly governed by the rule of law is taken over, the judiciary is the first to go. The new enlightened dictator immediately replaces all the judges with his friends and then passes or decrees enabling acts. This was done in a lot of places in Latin American (Bolivia, Venezuela, Ecuador) when the new leftists got into power a few years ago.
