Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu over what is perceived as his public support of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in the last election, Channel 2 News reported on Sunday.

According to the report, Emanuel, a former White House Chief of Staff, said during a closed session at the Saban Forum in Washington that "Netanyahu supported the wrong candidate in the U.S. elections and lost."

Emanuel also said that the White House expects that Netanyahu’s treatment of President Barack Obama will be different, especially at this time.

He said the President was not willing to accept degrading treatment by the Israeli Prime Minister. "It is inconceivable that the Prime Minister would behave the way Netanyahu is behaving,” said Emanuel, according to Channel 2.

Thanks Nachum.
He said the President was not willing to accept degrading treatment by the Israeli Prime Minister
Both Emanuel and Obama are guilty of degrading behavior, which, even though it was (and is) directed toward PM Netanyahu, only degrades them.

Obama has publicly humiliated Nethanyahu on at lesat two occasions including kicking him out of the White House because he would not agree to suicidal concessions. The Mayor of Chicago should be delaing with the murders and other problems in Chicago. Maybe he needs to go back to ballet dancing, perhaps he was good at that.

From the look of him, he was made to wear a tutu.

This midget ballerina, this racoon-eyed aszhole, this bisexual well known in bathhouse circles in Chicago, this socialist/communist LIAR...he pops out lies out of every orifice. He is hated by the Chicago Police...they KNOW who and what he is and they freely express it in their blog. He is slimy, full of himself, sees himself as having a great sense of humor at the expense of others...in short, he is in love with himself. This little rat will get caught in a great big trap..don't know when, don't know how, but he will have screwed someone one time too many and he will be nailed.

He's talking about a president who is famous for degrading himself and the office of the presidency by going on bowing expeditions around the globe. Obama looks like a hunched over dog trying to scratch its arse on the carpet most of the time.

Rahm Emanuel should be spending his time and energy on governing Chicago, rather than popping off against Netanyahu and Israel. I'm sure Chicago needs his services more than Israel does, judging from its well-publicized soaring homicide rate.

It's obvious that the Obamatons are going full force to try to defeat Netanyahu in the upcoming Israeli election. Hopefully, the election process in Israel won't be subject to the same degree of cheating and fraud as the American process is.

Rahmie Poo is vexed - seems Jews are not openly happy he was cavorting with CakeBoy Obama in that Chicago queer bath house called “Man’s Country”.

Might their attitude be rooted in that pesky
abomination” thingie in the Torah.

Hell, no. Behave no different. The only way to get Obozy’s attention is to support his opposition. There are mid-term and gubernatorial elections coming up. Remember to support your friends, Bibi. Then Obozy gets nervous and makes overtures to get back Jooo!ish votes and money. Laugh in his face, if you can find the opportunity. Not just a chuckle, but open scornful harse-laughs while pointing a finger at him and rolling your eyes. You choose the finger.

Difficult to do psychoanalysis here, but another possible factor for Rahm could be a troubled relationship with his father, who came to the United States from...Israel, of all places. Also, his father was a physician, which is the one of the most despised professions in the leftist value system.

Rahm Emanuel is part of the left wing here and the left wing in Israel. Many do not understand that the animosity between observant/traditional Jews and the Liberal Left Jews is a powerful one. This animosity, which includes the rejection of the Torah, is at the core of what drives people like Rahm Emanuel. A bibical comparison might be the’Erev Rav’, or even the insurrectionist of the bibical figure Korach.

The Erev Rav only followed Moses into the desert because they desired to be close to the real power. Somewhat like those who come to America to bilk it for its resources.

Korach asked what was so special about Moses when he saw himself as every bit a leader. So he demanded power from Moses and convinced a significant number to follow. Moses could do little about it until God himself destroyed Korach and all his followers.

Combine all of this with R.E’s Israeli nature of ‘in your face’ and you can get a fairly good idea of Rahm Emanuel.

To say that the Jewish political world divides along those lines is obviously just a generalization with many exceptions. I, for one, would not classify myself as an observant Jew, yet I have always detested the left for its threat to civil liberties and the rule of law wherever it gains control of a society and its threat to the very survival of the great twentieth century achievement of the state of Israel. You could call me a Jewish secular conservative/libertarian/Zionist.

On the other hand, there also those Jews who are traditional/observant, yet still cling to the dogma of the left. In particular, Rahm Emanuel himself reportedly belonged to and may still belong to an Orthodox congregation. How can you fit him into your dichotomy?

I would need to know the level of his commitment to this congregation he “belongs” to. Does he put tefillin on his arm and head every day? Does he pray three times a day? Does he keep Shabbat and holidays? Eat only kosher? Bless all food before eating it and after finishing? Stay away from his wife’s bed during her menstrual cycle and seven days after, until she emerses in a mikvah pool? Or does he just donate money to an Orthodox congregation (perhaps to score political points, when people say that he’s a self-hating Jew)? I suspect the latter. True religiosity is an all-encompassing thing. It’s not something you leave in synagogue, but permeates one’s entire life and every facet of it, from rising in the morning to sleeping at night, and from birth until death. Since RE is quite palpably and actively against his own people in word and deed, I doubt he’s truly religious in any sense.

Of course it is. There many secular Jews who just plain conservatives: Jews who love Israel. I know them well. My father was one.

As a point of information though, the "orthodox" congregation that Rahm Emanuel belongs to his some sort of leftist Michael Lerner kind of bizarre nonsense that really has nothing to do with traditional Judaism. When Rahm went to visit Israel for his son's Bar Mitzvah, he went out of his way to insult the Jews at the Kotel and then went out on Shabbos to a restaurant for a celebration meal. Not very Observant. I think he fits into the :"Lo Dati" crowd very well.

I think it’s inconceivable that a Mayor of Chicago should leave his crime ridden, fiscally collapsing City to go campaign for his buddy Obama in FLORIDA. Shut the flup up Ramhbo.
