Prosecutors: Girlfriend stabs man found watching TV with another woman

Lakeshia R. Hall came back to her West Town home Saturday to find her boyfriend watching television with another woman, leading her to believe he had been unfaithful, prosecutors said today.

That sight launched Hall, 28, into a violent rage that earned her an attempted murder charge and sent her boyfriend to the hospital, prosecutors said.

It falls under the umbrella of double standards. There is a current TV ad for Fiat (automobile) where an attractive woman catches a man looking at her. She approaches him on the street and slaps his face. This is done to sell a car. What is next a kick to the groin? By the way, I have seen that met with a laugh track on sitcoms, too.

He was her Sugar Daddy...she feared she was going to lose the good thing she had....ignorant, typical, and a mooch like the big mooch in OUR White House. It goes back way before the ‘60’s. Ralph Cramden and Ricky Riccardo were the butt of the jokes. Alice was always right and even daffy Lucy was usually proved right in the end. Men have always been the target of humor and derision in television. Hot Lips Houlihan is one of the few women who have been the consistent target of derision in a sitcom and it’s important to note that she behaved like a man in a command role.
