nspired by concerns of unemployment, the economy, Benghazi, and matters of foreign policy; organizers are promoting a “Massive Anti-Obama Rally @ Obama’s Inauguration Day.”

Their goal? 500,000+ protesters armed with signs identifying the reason for their participation in the rally. The invitation expresses the following:

“If you are unsatisfied with President Barack Obama’s reelection win and you further feel that he will ultimately destabilize America completely, then let us join together with bold Anti-Obama signs clearly stating our main grievances…

This rally is meaningless.

It’s not going to do anything but give Jon Stewart fodder for his stupid show.

I’m sorry - I’d love to believe we can do something.

But in 2012 Obamaland, even the Republican party is flipping us the bird. :(

Where is everyone going to park? And I’m serious.

The electorate in its infinite wisdom has apparently decided to continue down the Road to Serfdom. Many will see the error of its ways, but it may well be too little, too late.

No, the time for winning, if by winning we mean the restoration of the republic in the whole of the US, is over. Our ambitions must be scaled back, but that doesn’t mean that the time for fighting back is over.

No, I’m not referring to violence: it’s not time for that yet. But come January, it will no longer be possible for many to obey both the law of the US, and their consciences.

Every peaceful (note that I do not say legal) means of resistance has to be considered, and once considered, acted upon.

We were discussing at the other thread and we think perhaps we should OCCUPY DC!
If we are determined, united and are willing to sacrifice a little time or money, we can OCCUPY DC without being physically present there and only spend a little:-

Here are some brain-storming ideas-
(True, we are helping DC make some money, but the end result is we occupy DC to keep them from ‘celebrating’)

Occupy hotel rooms -

We should urge the various org that participate in this rally to start booking blocks of hotel rooms and each participant can pre-pay for 1 room. Even if we can’t go we will just lose 1 night’s payment but we will lock up that room if we don’t cancel.

Occupy public transportation -
1. planes -
solicit travel agencies to help buy up blocks of plane tickets (or the sponsoring org can do this after signing up participants) and each participant can pay for whatever he/she needs. Even if the ticket-holders are not flying, the seats are locked up.

2. buses -
charter buses to take us to and from DC. The more the better, so we can clog up the roads in and out of DC. Again even if we don’t go we have tons of buses blocking traffic in and out of DC. We can give the seats to those who can go or want to go.

3. trains - just take whatever trains you need and if stuck, just get out and protest.

4. cars - if there are thousands of cars and buses going to DC at the same time, the roads will be clogged (occupied)! We can all stand by the cars to protest! That just might get some media attention!

Food for protestors -
arrange for our own mobile lunch wagons to distribute inexpensive meals to protestors,
or pack your own picnic.

(Wish Trump, if serious about starting a revolution, will use his 5 million dollars to arrange hotels and transportation (charter buses, planes...) for the rally.
or,
buy up all the ‘inauguration’ tickets for us to be there to expose all obozo’s crimes to the media.....

Anyone knows how to secretly contact Trump about this?)

I know, there will be plenty of objections to this.
What is your practical idea?

You might want to allow some time to organize, but not wait too long.........
