The vast majority of faculty and staff members from the nation’s top Catholic universities donated to President Barack Obama’s campaign over Republican nominee Mitt Romney’s this cycle, according to a new report. Ninety-one percent of the employees at 23 different Catholic schools gave to Obama, according to Federal Elections Commission data available on OpenSecrets.org and analysed by the conservative college site Campus Reform. When you read the fine print, you discover that this was ONE person, who gave a whopping $150. Big deal!
What's even stranger is that they list "Thomas Aquinas College" as "100% for Obama" ... and then in the breakdown, they list *zero* donors for Obama, and *zero* donors for Romney.

if catholics and christians stop fighting for truth then the left wins. it is worth time and treasure to change the heart of just one.

This is not surprising given that there are no Catholic insitutions of higher learning in the United States, save perhaps Ave Maria University located east of Naples, Florida (Novus Ordo) and Most Holy Trinity seminary (Traditional Catholic) in Brooksville, Florida.
The rest of the so-called Catholic schools are completely corrupted as is the American Catholic Church.

I don't know how many times I've seen this but if you want to keep good relations with your Catholic brothers and sisters, you could say, "If Catholics and other Christians....."

When Catholics vote Obama then you can hardly say that they are his biggest enemy, it is clear that his biggest enemy is the Evangelical right wingers, who are the core of his political opposition in America.

(1) As FReeper Campion notes, (comment #6), the numbers were pretty darn skewed: At one quite orthodox Catholic institution, the University of Dallas, there was only one (1) donor listed, but the report reads as if UD is 100% for Obama; at another, even more conservative Catholic college, there were NO (zero) political donors, but it was reported at 100% for Obama.
Why do you think it was reported this way? Hmm? Want to hazard a guess?
(2) If you've been reading the religious news even sporadically, you will have noticed that there is a battle royal raging within the Catholic church in America right now, with mutinous, (nominally) "Catholic" institutions in the US on one side, and the actual teachers of the Catholic faith (e.g. the Pope and the bishops) on the other.
If you've decided *against* the Church, you are siding *with* the mutinous insttutions which have effectively left the Faith.
That wouldn't be your intention, would it?
If you're alarmed at people abandoning Catholic truth, it makes no sense to abandon it yourself.
