You know, it's tough to fight the media on behalf of conservatism when those elected to institute and protect conservatism have no skills whatsoever when it comes to articulating and defending our ideas.
According to this new poll, House Republicans might actually be doing better in this debate were they to simply say nothing. They certainly couldn't be doing worse:
While 53 percent of those surveyed say the GOP would (and should) lose the fiscal cliff blame game, just 27 percent say President Obama would be deserving of more of the blame.

Let it all fail. Crash and burn, baby. Those of us that are prepared will be just fine and maybe we’ll take out some libtards for good measure.
In short ... it’s all over.
With the state run media, Republicans cannot win this. If they succeed, they are blamed for taking us off the cliff and will be replaced with democrats. If they fail, they fail. This is a lose/lose proposition.
The Republicans are lousy at P.R. Why? Because most of the old ones, not the conservatives, are not much different than the Democrats.
What is sad is I saw a video Clip of Gov. Howard Dean about strategy and the fiscal cliff. I found myself agreeing more with Dean than Boenher.
Still love FR but couldn’t care less about politics any longer. The left won for now, let them go over whatever cliff they choose. The GOP has ceased to exist for me, just LOSERS. No guts.
Screw the Dems. Screw the media. Screw Obama. Screw the polls.
I have totally had it. Let’s have one Party which will protect the interests of the taxpayers, the ones who are actually paying for all of the “free” stuff.
It doesn’t matter what happens, Pravda will blame the Republicans, regardless of the result.
The Tea Party needs to re-anoint themselves as THE official party for conservatives. Why have they been so quiet lately? Where’s the protests?

That’s because there is no conservative leadership in DC. Period!
The GOP wants to spend our money almost as much as the RATs.
That’s what DC is all about, no matter what party is involved.
You are correct. The voters gave them the biggest victory in congressional history, and they did absolutely NOTHING with it. They tip-toed around trying not to offend, thinking that was the way to win the White House in 2012. Instead they got murdered across the Senate and in the White House.
Somehow our party pr is such a disaster that our House members who passed no less than 30 legitimate bills to tackle spending, debt, budgets, reforms etc got 100% of the blame for ‘doing nothing’. All the while the Dem Senate, under direction from the Obama campaign actually did nothing...no budgets, no bills, no committee votes, no debates. Nothing. Yet they get a bigger majority.
What a disaster. Everyone involved should lose their positions.
OK, so this all sets us free. We know we can't win, we're going to lose no matter what. We know we're going to get the blame, so I say do the right thing and let the cuts happen. Maybe if the sheeple get hurt badly enough it will wake them up. When they start to cry, just remind them, you voted for Obama, this is what you get. Rush was right when he says this is now a nation of children. Well, sometimes kids have to learn the hard way. You play around the stove too much, you'll burn your hand. Fine, let the kids get hurt. Maybe they'll grow up.
The media controls the narrative
the GOP isn’t even trying to counter it
they are too busy purging conservatives
