Lets all just hold hands, sing Kumbaya, and go merrily over the fiscal cliff together. After all, how bad can it be? Wasnt it created by the wizards of smart in Congress and signed into law by our enlightened President? Pass the kool-aid please.
“shaken to my core”... interesting that you put it that way.
There is a great shaking JUST STARTING.
Hebrews 12:
26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.[e] 27 The words once more indicate the removing of what can be shakenthat is, created thingsso that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our God is a consuming fire.[f]
That’s what I thought. I always thought I was ready for it....I was wrong.
I truly believed we could turn things around, at least for a while. I feel crushed and I can’t seem to shake off this dreadful demon that haunts me.
I must start reading my Bible again and give my troubles to Him.
Is it just me, or do people seem to be more “evil” now a days? I’m talking about people you deal with on a day to day basis. Perhaps I am just now looking for ANY bad in people, more than I usually do.
My perception upon people seems more heightened now, if that makes any sense.
My awareness got “cranked up” right after the 2008 elections. There’s some really hard times coming.
I started prepping and praying for guidance, and I know I’ve received numerous helps along the way since then.
Too many “coincidences” to relate, but He’s getting His people prepared to live and thrive through it. It makes me think that we’ll have to “stick around” through it instead of getting yanked out early.
How dare nobama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has he no respect for Gaia???? Killing all those trees!!! The horror!!!
Neal Boortz said something years ago that helped put government's out of control spending. He was referring to Congress, but the principle is the same. If someone introduced some pork spending for a study of the mating habits of the green-thoraxed screeching beetle or, in this case, a tax-payer supplemented vacation, one would have to take the cost of the item, $4 million, divide it by $10,000, the average household tax bill, and stand up in front of that many families, in this case 400, and tell them why the government needs to confiscate their money for the item. Why it is more important for Obama to go on vacation for two weeks than for the family, who earned the money, to pay off their credit cards or put braces on their kids or buy a car to replace the one breaking down.
To take it a step further to answer your question, if you figure 40 years of earning, Obama is forcing 10 families to work their entire lives to pay the taxes necessary to send these worthless people on a vacation for a couple of weeks.
I can't decide if I am more reminded of Marie Antoinette or Yertle the Turtle.
