During the case, the Equality and Human Rights Commission argued that children risk being infected by Christian moral views. Yesterday the retired couples request for a ruling that faith should not be a bar to becoming a carer was denied at the High Court in London. Their case was heard by one of the most senior members of the family court, Lord Justice Munby, who was sitting alongside Mr Justice Beeston. It was ruled that there was no discrimination against them as Christians but that their views on sexual morality may be inimical or harmful to children. In that situation, they ruled: The equality provisions concerning sexual orientation should take precedence.
|
High Court Judges Lord Justice Munby (left) and Mr Justice Beatson ruled that laws protecting people from discrimination because of their sexual orientation 'should take precedence' over the right not to be discriminated against on religious grounds. |

Dear queen Liz - as monarch and ruler of Great Britain and head of the Church of England just thought you would like to know that there’s something not quite lining up in your courtyard.

The Judge Eternal would say differently according to the Bible.
Rights don’t trump Christian values, period!

Beatson ruled that laws protecting people from discrimination because of their sexual orientation 'should take precedence' over the right not to be discriminated against on religious grounds. Unless of course, you are Muslim.

Foster Parents make a lot of money doing this. You can literally be foster parents and never have to work which quite a few do. It is a shame that they will lose their financial health over this stupid ruling.

They look like such nice people. What a rotten shame this was done to them and to the foster kids! I don’t know what this world is coming to.
