I did not see a melt down but now that we’re purging, how about Tamara Holder (Jesse Jackson’s mistress) and Santita Jackson (his daughter). These two make me almost as sick as Sally Kohn and Alan Colmes. Although Alan is the ugliest and I’ve looked at him the longest....so first get rid of Alan, then the rest. IMO

I watched it, and it did not seem bad. They keep Bob Beckel on who has dropped the F-bomb live t least twice. The keep on their stars, who regularly invite Black Panthers and treat the with respect. Rove did NOTHING in comparison.

HOLY MOLY! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I am glad the snake in the grass is toast. I checked out the site at the end of the article on Rove being the first casualty. I am overjoyed.
For social conservatives, the treason began long before election day, when Rove led the party's tar-and-feathering of Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin, after Akin’s now infamous “legitimate rape” comments. The GOP’s perceived betrayal of Akin confirmed what many grassroots conservative activists had long suspected: That the Republican Establishment was willing to throw the base under the bus to serve the interests of deep-pocketed donors.
Chief among Rove’s critics is David Lane, a powerful evangelical kingmaker and conservative operative who organizes briefings between pastors and politicians. In an email obtained by Business Insider, Lane lays out his criticism of Rove and sets the stage clearly for the coming war between the GOP Establishment and the party base.
Lane writes:

Karl Rove presents a different problem — while [evangelical leaders] are politically naive (from my angle) — Karl is not, he's as shrewd as a serpent.

Karl is far more formidable...in the presidential Republican primary in 12’, Karl stepped on Rick Perry and then Newt Gingrich every chance he got — albeit with deceit and sophistication — and elevated Mitt Romney at strategic, crucial points along their way to the Republican nomination — Rove’s candidate.

As an example of how sophisticated Rove is…Karl Rove was out raising money to keep Santorum alive until they could kill Newt — Santorum basically ran for Governor of Iowa in 2011, visiting all 99 counties; Santorum, out of Iowa, had no organization, no money and no chance in 2012 to be the Republican nominee; he was only a stalking horse for Mitt Romney — Rove kept Santorum alive until he could kill Rick Perry first, and then Newt Gingrich.

I, for one, am glad they are downgrading Rove. He is wrong and he wasted a lot of money. He doesn’t deserve the reputation he has. Its time for him and the rest of the Bush era team to move on. And Morris is good for some entertainment value but he has been wrong so many times over the past 10 years that it isn’t funny. Its probably time for him to go too. And while we’re at it, Barone has egg all over his face too at this point. We have no good conservative poll analysts at this point.

Rove did not have an election night meltdown. He was right at that particular time to say that the call should have waited a bit.

I would, however, take him off the air for his “spectacularly wrong” predictions of a Romney win. Morris is simply too wrong too often to be believable.

Rove should have been eased out when earlier in the campaign he jokingly advised the assassination of Akins, the MO senate candidate.

Morris should have been eased out for being “spectacularly wrong” for a long period of time.

The best commentating talking head that Fox has right now, imho, is Judge Napolitano. It’s a shame in regards to life, that he’s a liberatarian. But, when it comes to making the complex simple, that man is a genius communicator.

His explanation of the Veterans Gun Rights Issue two days ago was so clear, concise, and on the money, that it would have been virtually impossible to walk away from hearing that explanation without knowing that issue inside and out.

Napolitano is gifted.

Fox News Is Keeping Karl Rove & Dick Morris Off the Air Following Poor Election Predictions, Report Claims

Fox News programming chief Bill Shine, has sent out orders mandating that producers must get permission before booking Rove or Morris.

At a rehearsal on the Saturday before the election, according to a source, anchor Megyn Kelly chuckled when she relayed to colleagues what someone had told her: “I really like Dick Morris. He’s always wrong but he makes me feel good.”

...Fox News chief Roger Ailes has ordered his staff to bench Rove and his fellow GOP pundit Dick Morris

Fox News and Hannity's Golden Boys of Punditry were a disgraceful waste of air time for years on Fox News.

Good for Ailes.

Now give Sarah more air time if you want to gain some relevancy.

Along with Ham, that chick Jedediah and Sal Russo.

Also the two dark haired babes on The Five. Heh, especially them...OK and Greg too and the Eric guy. NOT Belchkel. Err ths is...Beckel

I have read 50 posts, and not one mention of Rove popping up on MSNBC?

He will be the new whack-a-mole.
