Skip to comments.Purged conservative reps: Boehner planning to ‘run over’ conservatives, vote for tax hike

Conservative Republican Reps. Tim Huelskamp of Kansas and Justin Amash of Michigan hit back at Republican leadership on Tuesday, following their Monday removal from prominent committees, calling the move petty and vindictive, and accusing Speaker of the House John Boehner and his deputies of silencing independent conservative voices in preparation to steamroll a tax hike through Congress.
Huelskamp who was removed from the Agriculture and Budget Committees released a video on Friday declaring his intention to not vote for any tax increases and received notice of his removal on Monday, one business day later.
I think theres going to be an attempt to pass a tax increase through the House, in exchange for what? he told a group of reporters at the Heritage Foundation Tuesday afternoon. This president doesnt want to do entitlement reform, doesnt want to cut spending
I think it makes very clear to conservatives that youre about to get run over.

Can’t we get rid of that crying drunk Boehner?
Boehner is playing in the wrong game.
Can they be any more self-destructive?
To the headline: who didn’t know this would happen?
Who the heck didn't see this coming?
Boehner- Phony bluster, back stab, cave.
Enough is enough of this clown.
The only people with no room in the Republican big tent are conservatives
Only if they play with explosives at the proctologists office.
Who didn’t see this coming..Boehner is playing for the wrong team..what the hell has happened to the GOP when they throw Conservatives out like trash..if the GOP goes along with Obama’s tax hike plan, it’s time to create a new party
Boehner is such an idiot. I mean really. This is not the time to piss off the base. He thinks he will survive the stab in the back, he is wrong. He thinks he is safe as leader, he is wrong. All this will do is get conservatives really pissed off and take him and his lieutenants out in two years. If he only had half the balls he appears to have against conservatives.
“If the GOP goes along with Obamas tax hike plan, its time to create a new party.”
Why wait? What evidence leads you to think that the gop has even the slightest intention of representing conservatives?
If the GOP house won’t vote Bonehead and Cantor out of leadership,
it’s time to borrow Boneheads FBI file from Hillary. Bonehead has been
in DC for 20 years. He’s got to have some hidden scandals.
If we can’t vote him out, scandal him out. Now
Boehner is pleading with the shark to eat him last.
...well, I’ve eaten a fair amount of bubba food. What is a boness pork rectum. Where can I purchase it?
The GOP never removed any leftists from committee’s for voting the wrong way, did they??
We knew that Taxes were going to go up...the question was by how much.
The top 1% if income earners could be almost anybody in a given year. You create the new “pet rock” and it has a finite lifetime in terms of novelty and marketability.
You have two choices.
1)Take your product and run it out and hope that you generate enough cash to not have to work again.
2) Take your product and generate enough cash to finance another endeavor, to finance the next, to finance the next to where you have a real going concern i.e. Ron Popiel and Ronco.
With the current regime the Ronco thing is off the table.
