I know a few muslims.
Of course, they do not comprehend the Gospel. I’m working on a couple or three of them. Another, I think, is a lost cause from the get-go.
But “interfaith” is a tool of the spirit of antichrist, and of Satan and will lead to the world religion of the False Prophet.
There is no “common ground” here. Islam denies every single important tenet of the Gospel.
The Gospel is for them as well as us. So we offer it to them. But we do not meet on “common ground”. It is just not possible, regarding the Bible vs. the koran / hadiths.
Stage 1:
Start immigrating - move into a country quietly
Stage 2:
Begin starting churches: “learning centers”
community helps: food etc.
Stage 3:
Political activism: demanding rights, denounce
derogatory comments/press etc.
Stage 4:
Get elected, pass laws favoring rights etc. move toward
political majority
Stage 5:
Political control, Sharia Law

Why a church? Why not a barn on a pig farm? Or the auditorium on a college campus? Or a sports coliseum?

As you know, Satan has blinded the minds of many. Most of the world he is taking with himself to the lake of fire (even Hell is tossed into the lake of fire, interestingly enough).
Hopefully, some of their minds will be opened to the Gospel.

The actual Anti-Christ will make these weak “interfaith” social organizations look like nothing. This entity will have power even to make radical jihadists pipe down and be peaceable — for a season.

Yep. Even some of them may have their eyes opened during the Tribulation. Or during the Great Tribulation, more likely.
It will force the world to choose one or the other (Revelation chapter 14).

Yeah, I’ve been working on a couple for about 5-6 months now.
It reads like it will probably be the first serious set of non Judeo-Christian miracles that the world has seen in millennia. Barack Obama’s worst, the silliest interfaith worship we know, are all like nothing before this. Like Emeril likes to say, kick it up a notch. Or several thousand notches.

Back when I lived in Pasadena, in the early 90s, All Saints was starting to do gay marriages. Wonder what the Muslims were thinking, holding their event at a place where the congregation is pro-gay.
They’re righter than even they know if it really does mean the USA will swallow Islam. It probably won’t be all that easy for Islam until apocalyptic times, and then a greater (but still demonic) power is likely to win over Islamists for a season.

Episcopalians are not Christians. It is a cult, like the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons. Except the other two are closer to Christianity. This church in Pasadena in particular primarily worships homosexuality, which makes an interesting juxtaposition with Muslims.

The only common ground we have with muslims is sin for we are both infected with it. The only solution to that fundamental issue is Jesus Christ.
All of this destruction of our moral fabric is all happening at the same time for a reason. Radical Islam is connected to the progressive church/emergent church movement ,is connected to Saul Alinsky and Marxism.
They are all three movements to change America and our values and dominate the white culture. They are all working at the same time, because they all see a weak America.
How well they will all work together, when America is in a death kneel, is something we will find out.

The social justice model ties them all together. Churches are using a social gospel now and promoting groups that push for social justice and redistribution of wealth. Ministries and volunteer positions are filling up with Muslims- who are proystelitizing.
Some people have seen this going on for years and years, but most people are asleep still.
What the liberals don’t understand, who are supporting this stuff, is that they are useful tools to radical groups.
But, in the courtyard was a full-size statue of General George Patton with battle jacket and pistol. The organist said to the best of his knowledge the rector has never walked into that courtyard. Apparently the Patton family at one time were quite influential in the church.

On the evangelical model itself, only personal direct faith makes a person a Christian. Perhaps not many there are Christian in the exact sense, and many of those may exercise their faith weakly or in an ignorant manner, but one can’t say there are “no Christians” there. It’s impossible by definition.
Muslims don’t use music in worship. Christians do. Not many Muslims come up with noted pieces of music. The most famous one might be Aram Khatchaturian’s “Sabre Dance” and he did that as part of a drama that praised the Soviet regime, so he seems at most agnostic.
