Obama's Illegal Immigrant Uncle Might Be Getting Special Treatment

AP - Onyango Obama in 2011
After being ordered to leave the United States 20 years ago, Onyango Obama, the Kenyan-born half-brother of President Obama's father, has been granted a new deportation hearing and now has a second chance to stay in the country.
"Last week, the Board of Immigration Appeals granted Onyango Obamas request to reopen his immigration case based in part on his contention that his prior lawyer was ineffective, according to a government official with direct knowledge of the case," reports the Boston Globe's Maria Sacchetti, and on Tuesday an appeals board ordered a review of his case.
"The Board of Immigration Appeals has sent Obamas case to the Executive Office for Immigration Review for reassessment, " reported the AP, gleaning information from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Brian Hale.
So there's that. Of course the big question is if being related to the president helps your deportation case. As Sacchetti points out, this isn't the first Obama to face deportation.
The presidents aunt Zeituni Onyango was discovered in Bostons public housing in violation of a deportation order just before the president won election in 2008. She won asylum in 2010 based in part on the exposure of her case to the public.
And critics of Onyango believe he's getting special treatment. Sacchetti points out that Onyango was released from immigration detention and obtained a federal work permit and a state hardship driver's license materials that critics insist other immigrants who aren't related to the president aren't able to get.

"The White House said it expected his arrest to be handled like any other," reported the AP.

Might?
MIGHT?
Bwahahahahahahahahahahah!
If obama had an Uncle, he’d look just like,,,, Oh! Wait! Nevermind!
Ya think?
when they deport an illegal alien, do they also deport the entire family of illegal aliens?
hum......?
A lot of times bureaucrats do stuff like this because they “think” they have to.
Barry has never shown a shred of interest in those alleged Obama relatives since his village photo ops many years ago. He knows he’s not related to them and he just doesn’t care. It’s a name his mother decided to use 50 years ago, and nothing more.
Deport the uncle and his incompetent nephew.
My first reaction too. Then when you think about it, we’re not doing much to return anyone to their nation of origin.
Perhaps his uncle is merely getting the same disgusting break all illegals are.
I’m just shocked they aren’t using this opportunity to sign him up for multiple government programs.
“Might”?
Who writes this crap!
IS getting preferential treatment.
> OBAMA’S ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT UNCLE ‘MIGHT’ BE GETTING SPECIAL TREATMENT <
MIGHT BE?!! MIGHT BE?!!! I worked for the INS - you’re damn’d well right he IS getting special treatment; and I doubt it’s because ‘boy’ Obama has ordered it but rather because some high ranking appointee wants to secure brownie points with His Highass.
There’s no way back from here for our country. We are doomed.
Agree! These are not his blood relatives! This is not his blood uncle! His dad was Frank Marshall Davis and this Obama name is pure fiction. Obama, Sr. was used for the birth certificate, and the kid has milked it to the hilt. The village photo ops were for his future political gain, and not for any sentimental reason. He knows he truth, and it is embarrassing that the majority of the this country's voters don't know, or choose not to believe or care about the truth.
Had he tried to get into Columbia or Harvard with the truth of his background that his real name is Davis, the doors would not have opened so quickly for him. How convenient and timely it was for him that he could use such a fictional story that he is the son of the Kenyan, Barack Obama. It is a pure fairy tale, and big time BS.
I’d keep the drunk-driving ‘uncle’ ahead of the supposed ‘nephew’.
Yeah, I'd like to see a DNA test.
