The Syrian military is prepared to use chemical weapons against its own people and is awaiting final orders from President Bashar Assad, U.S. officials told NBC News on Wednesday.
The military has loaded the precursor chemicals for sarin, a deadly nerve gas, into aerial bombs that could be dropped onto the Syrian people from dozens of fighter-bombers, the officials said.
As recently as Tuesday, officials had said there was as yet no evidence that the process of mixing the "precursor" chemicals had begun. But Wednesday, they said their worst fears had been confirmed: The nerve agents were locked and loaded inside the bombs.

And in doing so, deliberately informed the rebels EXACTLY what needs to happen so they can have F/A-18s come assist them. Don’t think for a minute they didn’t clearly understand what she was telling them to do.
She told them “politically we cannot sell this at home, so we need you to make sure you are “attacked” by gas”.
Gas is scary in both non-logical and perfectly real ways, particularly to a civilian population. Gas can penetrate bomb shelters and trenches, particularly the kind that civilians would make in a hurry. It can be dispersed with weapons that have little “bang”, so it can be widely faked with small expenditure of real gas shells.
Some real gas mixed in with a scattered bombardment across wide urban areas can cause a massive civilian panic.
Remember that Assads government hates its people. It works by scaring them.
I see your point. However since we don’t know where Assad is sending those weapons,we should be bombing the hell out of the sites. What if they are used on Israel?

These reports are something of a red herring; like most countries with CW stockpiles, Syria makes extensive use of binary weapons technology. The precursor agents necessary to produce the chemical agent are already loaded in the weapon and mixed after it is fired. Presumably, Damascus has thousands of CW shells, missile warheads and other munitions that are filled and ready to go.
However, Syria has been know to train with live CW agents, to improve handling and employment skills. In 2007, “dozens” of Syrian and Iranian technicians died during a warhead mating exercise. Somehow, the warhead exploded and chemicals were released, killing a number of participants.
They're a pretty tough crowd, but the Sunni don't consider them to be legitimate moslems. The Shi'ites elsewhere, e.g. in Iran, are more tolerant ~ but that's an uneasy alliance ~ the Alawites would just as soon kill Iranians as they would Sunni Arabs ~ maybe more ~ so whatever they've been doing it's been for some economic advantage.
Obama seems to view the Alawites as not exactly kosher ~ and as far as the Christians in Syria are concerned, they are dead to him.
BTW, when you have Obama and McCain on the same side, that's really bad news ~

That is why you mix smoke, high explosives, and chemical weapon rounds together in a fire mission. The effect of high explosive rounds mixed with smoke and the occasional chemical rounds will not only cause confusion but will also enhance the chemical rounds because of the element of sunrise and the unknown.

All these false flag or setup criminal warfare incidents depend on a complicit lying MSM to publicly (falsely) accuse, try and convict the target, and cover up the massive criminal acts of the accuser.

We will all now panic and wonder what to do because Syria is about to use the gas which probably once belonged to Iraq before they dumped it over the border into Syria.
