CIVIL WAR II America’s new cold war
Self ^ | 2012 | Steve Newton

Posted on 12/05/2012 4:24:06 PM PST by Steve Newton

After a contentious election sometimes emotions run high. The winners are jubilant and the losers are despondent. This time it’s different. After 4 years of an “us against them” policy this nation has never been as divided as we are now since the first civil war. What may have been a deliberate policy to win an election may well transform into a monster that will devour us all.

It would seem that the country has now entered into a “cold” civil war© and if we’re not very careful it could turn hot very quickly. We now have more people on the government teat than people paying taxes and as our forefathers surmised, this is a recipe for disaster. With one party promising everything from free health care, free phones, free food, open borders etc, they will never lose another election. People are just too short sighted to understand that there is no “free” ride in life.

In other words, we have the givers and the takers, with a majority of takers, and a political regime that uses this to its advantage. As more and more illegal immigration occurs this imbalance will widen and tensions will only get worse. The givers will eventually stop giving because nothing they do will work for them anymore. Neither the soap box nor the ballot box will be able to change where we are now headed because we have reached the point of no return.

The producers will either stop producing or go the extra mile and boycott purchases from people that supported this regime. (See attachment A) Elections have consequences and many say stop doing business with those that support Marxist policies.

Eventually the system will collapse under its own weight and the takers will have no more to take—and at this point they will become angry. They did everything the “government” told them to do but suddenly the food stamps are no good and the free phones won’t work because there is no more money.

For years we have allowed the work ethic to deteriorate, along with our moral and ethical compasses. Our colleges and universities teach junk courses that have absolutely nothing to do with real life and then we wonder why our children with degrees cannot get a job. All of us are at fault over this and we will all pay the price. (And it won’t be in dollars)

Political correctness has run amok and it has taken our common sense with it. We celebrate perversion then sit back and wonder why the perverted prey on us. We champion diversity at the expense of cohesion and we allow our enemies within our gates for the cause of religious tolerance. A once proud and noble news media has turned into a propaganda machine.

In the midst of everything that is going on it is a miracle that we still produce any children that love their country and God almighty. But they are now a minority who sometimes face ridicule for their beliefs.

The tipping point is near. The American cold civil war with itself will someday soon turn hot and we will all wonder how it happened and what we could have done about it.

Can we prevent this? It would take a monumental effort from the ground up and may even be generational. And it will probably not occur until after things are decided in blood.

We are in desperate need of God and a leader that can unite us and not divide us. A leader that can explain to the masses the simple facts of an empty check book and promote the work ethic this country was founded on.

The cold civil war is here; it began a long time ago and we are losing this war when we didn’t even know we should have been fighting. Whether it can be stopped from becoming hot now depends on God.

A. As the left is so found of say, elections have consequences. They are also good at boycotts or attempted boycotts. So it has been suggested we should now fight fire with fire. Let 50% of Americans who voted left support the leftist companies and corporations. I no longer want my own dollars used against me in the destruction of this nation. With lots of help I have put together a list. Feel free to add to it and then take action:

1. Probably the worst of all—The Tide Foundation and the Tides Center. Over the course of its 33 year history, the Tides network has given hundreds of millions of dollars to anti-free enterprise groups, gun control groups, anti-private property groups, abortion rights groups, homosexual groups, groups engaged in voter fraud, anti-military groups, and organizations that seek to destroy America’s constitutional basis. All told, over 100 leftist organizations have received funding from one of the two Tides groups. It has become a clearing house, (some would say money laundering), for funds donated by people that want to remain “anonymous” when donating to far left groups.

2. The Heinz Foundation. Lead by John Kerry’s wife and created by the Heinz food empire funnel millions of dollars to the Tide Foundation.

3. Soros has also donated 7 million to the Tide Foundation and his Open Society Institute funds many radical groups still today. He is right up there with the Tide Foundation in his funding of radical far left groups.

4. The Ford Foundation and the Ford motor company give tens of millions to Tide.

5. Other large Tides donors include: The Rockefeller Foundation, the Pew Charitable Trust, the James Irvine Foundation, Citigroup Foundation, Kellogg Foundation, Hearst Foundation, Fannie Mae Foundation, JP Morgan Foundation, Bank America Foundation, Chase Manhattan Foundation, Verizon Foundation, David & Lucile Packard Foundation, AT & T Foundation, Bell Atlantic Foundation, Citicorp Foundation, ARCO Foundation, US West Foundation, John D. MacArthur Foundation, ALCOA Foundation, Richard King Mellon Foundation, and the Carnegie Foundation and Hewlett Packard.

One way to reduce the power of this alliance would be to boycott the products and services these organizations are involved with such as Ford automobiles, Heinz food products, Bank of America, Kellogg cereals, HP computers, Oreo cookies, (Kraft), Google, J.C. Penny, Ben and Jerry’s etc. While these foundations sometimes no longer have any financial association with the corporations that originally endowed them, you can be sure that if enough of us wrote letters and boycotted their products that we could probably influence their behavior. If not if would make them pay a price for their anti American stance.

Time to heat up the cold civil war with cold hard cash.

That’s a confusingly mixed analogy. Unless maybe I compare it to the pause between secession and Ft. Sumter. No, that doesn’t work.

What the hell is a cold civil war? It makes no sense.

The way it works, or will work, is we revert to a barter economy. Everything is done “on the side” and you don’t report any of it to the government. Just don’t get greedy, do only what you need to do to get by. It’s human nature. It’s how the average Russian got by in the USSR.

Tykwando, Latrina, Raetheon and Femali with their 0bamaphones are on their own.

because of forced govt confiscation and redistribution to pet demographic groups, the love of many will grow cold.

and the people getting all the free stuff confiscated from others have no love for those it was taken from.

Indeed yes.

The people of many countries have had to go this route.

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” - Thomas Jefferson.

This needed to happen a long time ago.

Because it hasn’t, the cost in blood will be far beyond what we can bear.

But then, given we’ve murdered an entire generation of Americans in the womb - the Judgment for Slavery in the Civil War makes me shudder at what blood God is going to require of this wayward nation.

Oh I believe their will be fighting if the current path continues....

Too many of us ex-military guys swore an allegiance to the constitution to protect against foriegn or domestic enemies....

Not even close to that point yet, but watching.....

Sorry to tell you but the Constitution is a dead letter. Any viability it still had was killed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court last summer. I do not see any branch of government recognizing any restraint on its activities as against any other branch, and NO branch of government recognizes ANY restraints on its power over the individual.

I think my reaction is more like absolute disgust that this country which I have cherished for most of my life could elect then re-elect such an obvious Marxist clown.

We have reached the point where there are not enough people who actually see through the media lies to win. We have been savaged and inundated with leftist propaganda so long that it is really really working.

Exactly my thinking.

Liquidated my cow/calf operation. Kept enough on my home place to feed my immediate family and sell calves for cash to friends.

None go to feed the Obamabots up north. My beef will not keep a moocher alive.

Maybe

But we are not done yet.

It is ——very scary to see the amount of money and the organizations that the Tide foundation support. (And Soros)

We need to cut them off from their money

With one party promising everything from free health care, free phones, free food, open borders etc, they will never lose another election.

That's what they said 60 or 70 years ago about FDR. It didn't work out that way.

People are just too short sighted to understand that there is no “free” ride in life.

Over time, life has a way of teaching people otherwise.

Yes. But I wonder how many times FDR COULD have been elected?

But I guess things do work out in the end. I pray they do this time.

We need to cut them off from their money

Can't happen. We need to cut them off from their influence.

I agree but I think money IS influence. For the most part. Who would listen to an old Soros if he was broke?

IT is a cold civil war, I’ve heard cases where it is like brother against brother, father against son and so on. Myself, I knew one guy for 40 years since I was six, we’ve unfriended each other, he is a kool-aid, OBummer supporter. It really runs that deep. BTW, look up Civil War Two Cube.
