Conservative group launches campaign to ‘depose’ Boehner from speakership

The backlash against Speaker of the House John Boehner’s removal of several conservative members of Congress from committees continued Wednesday, with one conservative group calling for Republicans to “depose” Boehner from his speakership.

American Majority Action (AMA) is launching a #FireBoehner campaign. If 16 members of the Republican Party abstain from voting for Boehner as speaker in January, he will be one vote shy of the 218 necessary to confirm his speakership.

“Speaker Boehner has been an abysmal failure as speaker, and his latest purge is the nail in the coffin for conservatives,” said Ned Ryun, president and CEO of AMA. “Boehner has never won a negation battle with the White House or Senate — and he’s been nothing short of an embarrassing spokesman for the conservative movement. It’s time for him to go.”

We gotta get rid of this chump.  Hopefully to be replaced by a real conservative.

Michelle Bachman.  Jim DeMint.  Joe Walsh. (Deffinitely should be a Tea Party caucus member - heh!)

Wikipedia: Tea Party Caucus membership (What was that bit about "There IS no Tea Party Caucus" we got from Boner a couple weeks ago?)

The caucus chair is Michele Bachmann of Minnesota. Of a total possible 435 Representatives, as of March 31, 2011, the committee has 61 members, all Republicans.[15]

It pains me that no one from Washington state is on that list. I think I’ll send my reps a note anyway.

At least 8 names on that House list won’t be in the next Congress.

Nor from Ohio. That actually surprises me because I would have thought for sure a few Reps would have been.

Maybe if enough conscientious R congressmen commit to voting for peelosie then maybe bonehead would listen to reason?

I have no clue if there are enough hands on deck to create such a paradox or not.

I say we move for Mike Pence to run in 2016 as a Tea Party candidate. That would give him four years as a sitting Governor.

"Time to get the democrat party out of the GOP!"

Errrr.. yup.  Or at least create as much havoc for the RINO establishment as possible.  No inconvienience at all for conservatives to push the GOPe hacks right off the fence onto their @sses, whereby they can finally realize their true identity as tax and spend Democrats.

Ugh, but then the thought of Pelosi sitting as Speaker again would be painful and that is on top of living with Obama for four more years.

I was made aware yesterday that the Speaker can actually be anyone, does not have to be a current member of the House.

Simply a wussy cry baby. To call him Boner ignores his impotence is too many respects.

I am done with the GOPe.

he’s been nothing short of an embarrassing spokesman for the conservative movement.

OK, I guess I'll buy that, but the real problem is that he's been a very successful spokeman for the liberals. He's done all kinds of stuff for them while screwing the country.

Bottom line: J-Bo must go.
