Why Obama Is Wrong on Morsi
In-Extremis | December 6 | Katechon

Obama, as well as main-stream journalists, academics, politicians and diplomats argue that the contemporary Muslim Brotherhood is no longer attached to the vision of the Caliphate. They say the Brotherhood is being transformed by the experience of democracy and of actual governance. It will internalize the culture of democracy, they assure us...

Nonsense!

Every Brotherhood leader is reaffirming the Brotherhood's mission -- the islamization of everything, from the individual, the family, to the society, the government and even the whole world.

The Muslim Brotherhood is close to achieving the “ultimate goal” set by the group's founder Hassan al-Banna in 1928, which is the establishment of a “just and reasonable regime.”

The project begins with the creation of a sound government and ends with the establishment of a just Islamic caliphate, said Mohamed Badie, the Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt on Thursday, in his weekly message on the group’s official website.

-- Omar Halawa Thu, 29/12/2011 -

The Brotherhood is not becoming "moderate." Sure, the Brothers established a political party -- the Freedom and Justice Party -- and took part of an electoral process. But that's only part of dawah -- conquest by means of "good" work. That innovation is entirely secondary now that the Brotherhood has taken control of Egypt, that it is infiltrating the state apparatus, the police and the army with its own men. The Brotherhood is now discarding "democracy" and "reform" in order to implement the unity of obedience to its leadership. It was only using "democracy" to achieve totalitarian control of Egypt. The Brotherhood has been guided from its very beginning by the goal of a Caliphate that seeks unity in obedience to its Supreme Guide.

Exactly like the "Muslim Devotees" of the Iranian Islamic Republic.

The regime of the ayatollahs in Iran grew out of a secret society called the Devotees of Islam (فدائیان اسلام), a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate whose founder and leader in the 1950s, Sayyid Navab Safavi, was a close associate of Ruhollah Mostafavi Musavi Khomeini.

Khomeini, Navab Safavi and the flag of the Devotees, فدائیان اسلام

That goal of totalitarian control by way of the Caliphate was expressed by the Brotherhood's founder, Hassan al Banna, in a famous formula:

The genius of al-Banna has been his method, how carefully he organized the secret Society of the Muslim Brothers into various sub-groups, and the discipline exercised by the Supreme Guide and its Bureau of Guidance.

Gamal al-Banna, the younger brother of the Muslim Brotherhood's founder

Its disciplined, hierarchical organization enabled the Brotherhood to pursue the Caliphate productively through many years (since 1928), including extended periods when it was subject to oppression.

See Leadership and Allegiance in the Society of the Muslim Brothers by Lella Landau-Tasseron for more details on the secret organization of the Brotherhood

The mission of the Caliphate and the hierarchical organization of the Brotherhood were derived from the "prophet" muhammad, his companions and a few subsequent caliphs. Following this model, al-Banna had his organization adhered to the guidance of Umar, the second caliph, who had said "there is no islam without a Society of Brothers, no Society without an Imam, and no Imam without complete obedience."

Umar went on to become the organizer of the greatest of the early islamic conquests, and of a Caliphate that had endured for a 1000 years...

Al-Banna followed that model when he crafted the Muslim Brotherhood. So Egypt will turn out exactly like Iran.

I really wonder if Obama is a useful idiot or a "brother."

My point is: The Muslim Brothers will do in Egypt exactly what the “Muslim Devotees” did in Iran: establish an islamic Republic.

The backwardness, poverty and and an intolerant culture are a perfect spawning ground for a fundamentalist based mass political movement. It gives uneducated, impoverished people a sad focus to their lives. Morsi and the leaders to evolve from the “Arab Spring” fueled by Jew hatred, will no doubt try to form a new “United Islamic Republic’ of Egypt, Libya and Syria. It will be reminiscent of the old secular and socialist inspired “United Arab Republic” and patterned after Iran. The Islamists are the predominant political force in North Africa. The political infrastructure is unsophisticated. The secular and educated minorities in those countries do not have much of a chance. When Morsi has full control of the army, bad things will happen very quickly.

You have it backward: Iran is patterned after the Muslim Brotherhood, which is itself patterned after the Caliphate of Umar.

The problem in this region is islam. Not poverty nor lack of education.

Obama knows exactly what is going on in the Muslim Islamist world and he is 100% behind the Muslim Brotherhood. He knows if the Muslim Brotherhood establishes itself strongly in every mideast country, Israel won’t have a chance and that is his goal. His muslim belief is to get rid of the Jews - he he a two face bastrd.

Its important to realize what happened with the “Arab Spring” revolution and why it was so misjudged in the West. It was plain to Western jounalists, diplomats and academics that the recent regimes in Egypt, Libya and Syria were oppressive, non democratic and corrupt. No doubt they liked and sympathized with the educated, articulate opponents they came to know. Of course they cheered when the “revolutions” began and the despots were defeated. However the West has a very limited and poor understanding of the real lives of the masses in North Africa. Most are miserably poor , uneducated, and live in rural backwaters or urban slums. Throughout history such people are motivated and find meaning in their lives through religion. If “democracy” is established in those countries, then leaders wearing the cloak of religious certainty will motivate those people, and will achieve and consolidate power. That is exactly what is happening in Egypt. Morsi with some messy civil disturbances will achieve power. He will do so because unfortunately a clear majority of the newly enfranchised people identify and are motivated by the values of the “Muslim Brotherhood.”

I don't know, sir.

Look at Syria. How can you explain that not only the Free Syrian Army, but also prominent warlords despise the Brotherhood if all they want is to escape poverty by seeking refuge in "religion"?

Take Salafist Abu Issa for instance.

Or Jamal Maarouf.

What makes you think Obama is muslim?

My question is genuine. I don’t have a clue.

What makes you think Obama is muslim?

What makes you think Zippy isn't?
Morsi was installed by Obama/Soros/Code Pink through the Arab Spring flash mob. Morsi didn't just "appear" out of thin air, he was shoved through American colleges just like Zippy himself. Then there is Shiite Valleri Jarrett.

Errr...?

Sure, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn have been to Egypt before the Arab “spring,” and they may have community-organized a bunch of lefties there.

But Morsi belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood, an extremely powerful, trans-national organization created in Egypt in 1928.

Morsi wasn’t installed in Egypt by Chicago/Soros. The Muslim Brothers are preparing for this since the 1970s at least.

They were the ones who killed Sadate, Mubarack’s predecessor.

Not to escape poverty, but to seek solace and meaning. This has always been a prime motivation for political behavior. Even Sam Adams the great American propagandist and ardent revolutionary was motivated by a fervor to reestablish a bygone Puritanism in New England. Anyway time will tell.

Valerie Jarrett gave the keynote address at the 46th annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) last July -- which is a known MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD affiliate.

In June 2009, she also invited ISNA President Ingrid Mattson to work on the White House Council on Women and Girls, which she leads.
