Because next year's inauguration falls on a Sunday, President Obama will hold only a small, private swearing-in ceremony on Jan. 20, and will hold a big public redo the next day.
The Inaugural Committee announced Thursday that activities will last three days: a day of service on Saturday, the small private ceremony on Sunday, and the public swearing-in, parade and balls on Monday.

He wants to give George Soros a big, wet one.
The less I see and hear from him, the better.
And I bet in the Public venue, he won't say "so help me God"...
Ah, yes...three days of partying on the public $$$
How the hell can you get officially sworn in to a public office in private ????
A day of service? What the heck is that?
Every republican should boycott his inauguration and party... but they will kiss his muslim arse until their lips bleed.
BY LAW, if January 20th (Inauguration Day) lands on a Sunday, the president in sworn in privately....and then publicly on the following day...January 21.

Probably volunteer work.
someone should remind Chief Justice Roberts to bring his Koran
Don’t want video of his hand on Koran....
Public version next day will be fake cover, over a dictionary....
Soros is his sugerdaddy.
The official part of the oath is given to Roberts himself. It’s important that the public know about it, but not necessary they see it. The assurance that he’s not lying is supposed to be not the publicity but the fact that it is taken on the Bible.
By the way, why the hell do we still have oaths? No one believes in them anymore. Read Hamlet or something else old and they’re swearing to something every other page. That was for a society of status and religion. We have neither, much.
Now we are a society of contract. You can take me to court to enforce promises, but mostly I can break my word when I feel like it. Unless I’m in court, because the law id pretentious, of getting married, because children are important and fighting over crappy collections of nicknacks is bothersome.
Will John Roberts french kiss him this time, now that they’re best pals?
He doesn’t want folks in ‘merica to see he swears on a Quran.
