Not only that, but this lead prosecutor, it appears, ought to get the Mike Nifong treatment, i.e., removed and disbarred.

As long as the jury doesn't come from Durham. The local folks in Durham still think the Duke boys were guilty.

The accused Duke plays got millions each from the local government and Duke University; and I still think they've got cases going.

This is what I’m reading: The largest defamation award in Pennsylvania history was previously awarded to The Beasley Firm (co-counsel), $34,000,000.00

Anyone who says what NBC did was just a 'mistake' has their head up their behind. They clearly had a narrative for Zimmerman that his actions were racially motivated to incite outrage among their black viewers.

STICK IT TO 'EM, GEORGE! God only knows what else and how often NBC spins, mutilates, twists, edits, and misrepresents the so-called 'news' they report. FUNBC!

NBC'S STUNT PUT GEORGE'S AND HIS FAMILY'S LIVES IN GRAVE DANGER!

Remember when Carol Burnett sued the National Enquirer for printing a story saying she was seen drunk at a restaurant? Since Burnett’s mother suffered from alcoholism, she never used alcohol, and saw the story as a way to smear her.

And she won too...

"Famous Woman Crack Shot ... Steals to Secure Cocaine,"

The story claimed that Oakley was currently in a Chicago prison, sentenced to 45 days for "stealing the trousers of a negro in order to get money with which to buy cocaine."

Oakley's "striking beauty" was now "entirely gone," the reporter declared. "Although she is but twenty-eight years old, she looks almost forty."

None of it was true -- Oakley was nearly 43 and spending August on the New Jersey seashore. Nor had she ever stolen trousers or used cocaine. But newspapers from coast to coast soon picked up on the story, and friends mailed her articles with headlines like "Annie Oakley, Famous Rifle Shot is Destitute."

Oakley was devastated -- she had always scrupulously avoided any scandalous conduct, and suddenly her reputation was on the verge of being destroyed.

"The terrible piece ... nearly killed me," Oakley declared. "The only thing that kept me alive was the desire to purge my character."

Excellent. Zimmerman should have a very LONG LIST of those to sue.

I hope he get millions from this witch hunt. I don’t think he can sue Obama, but that big and reckless mouth Santorum should also be on his list.

They did? I guess that makes sense. They couldn’t very well avoid it since they’re involved, although with how low the media can go it wouldn’t have been surprising. But I believe ABC didn’t mention it, unless they mentioned it in passing. The media will talk about this is little as they possibly can. The ABC evening news didn’t do a story about the recent-released photo of Zimmerman, either, come to think of it. When the allegations of abuse against Zimmerman by his cousin came out (which I believe are probably too but are from when he was a child and he was probably abused himself), ABC covered that though.

Good! I was afraid the Zimmerman’s were too nice to file any suits. They should file a bunch more IMO.

I can't think of a person who was more irresponsibly and wrongfully portrayed in the media, with such horrendous consequences to him and his family.

I dunno, Richard Jewel and Steven Hatfield come to mind.

The Attorney General, Roy Cooper, never charged the prostitute who lied and said she was raped by the Duke lacrosse team. He claimed she was too psychologically impaired to be charged.

John Hinkley found that claim interesting.

Finally somebody sues the evil liberal media for their slander.

Wonder if Palin or others can do this ? I mean the media smeared her children etc.
