Unnoticed pieces in Reese case form puzzling picture(NM)
Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 6 December, 2012 | David Codrea

Posted on 12/07/2012 4:33:12 AM PST by marktwain

Additional information investigated this afternoon by Gun Rights Examiner provided by a source close to the Reese case in Las Cruces, N.M., points to further questions about testimony given in that case, as well as further circumstantial tie-ins to two other high-profile gun trafficking cases.

The Reese family were Deming gun dealers who were alleged to have knowingly sold guns to straw purchasers acting on behalf of Mexican cartels, arrested, imprisoned, had their assets seized, and who have since had conspiracy and money laundering charges against them dismissed. Sentencing for their August convictions for “making false statements” still has not happened [described by Jeff Knox of The Firearms Coalition as “the comparatively minor charge of lying on gun sales forms -- even though the lies they were convicted of were perpetrated by federal agents and the Reese's crimes were that they ‘should have known’ that the agents were lying”].

Gun Rights Examiner reported on Sunday about an apparent conflict related to the testimony of an ATF agent against the family, with the tie-in of another N.M. trafficking case in Columbus to the Fast and Furious “gunwalking” operation. Further tangential connections to the Reese case are now emerging from information that has been previously posted without perceiving a connection -- in some cases, admittedly, because it is speculative and circumstantial, but nonetheless of potential relevance to ongoing investigations and decisions.

The Reese prosecution just shows people that if the feds want you, they can bring enough charges so that a jury will think that at least one of them must be true!

This was federal persecution, not prosecution. Actually, crucifixion. It’s the lowest of low Stasi/KGB tactics to jail an entire family down to the kids, to blackmail the father into pleading guilty to crimes not committed in order to set his wife and kids free.

Straight out of the KGB handbook. Disgusting Nazis, including the Nazi federal judge who played along with the evil plot to “make and example” out of the Reese family.

There is a special place in hell for comrade commissars like her.

So ironic, in light of Fast and Furious.

You boys and girls in the fusion centers, do you remember your oaths to defend the Consititution? Or were you all just laughing and eye-rolling while you mouthed those “outdated” words?

You had better give it a lot of serious thought. Does honor mean a damned thing to you?

“making false statements”

That’s how they got Martha Steward and hundreds (thousands?) of other citizens.

NEVER TALK TO THE POLICE.

Google-tube for this video.

This is a throwback to the 1980’s and all the phony “child abuse” cases.

All the phony child abuse cases were cooked up to get more govt control over your children.

I've got a feeling this is just a ruse and they are actually laying the groundwork for more govt control over private gun sales.

That was the entire idea behind Fast and Furious. The Reeses were persecuted to make it look like the feds were actually arresting gun dealers for straw purchases.

Janet Reno, (Holder's mentor) was at the helm of a notorious child abuse case in Dade County before she got the nod for AG from the Clintons, way back before Waco.

Funny how the same faces keep coming back to haunt us.

The straw purchase set-up was just part of the plan, but the most insidious.

If the dealers hadn't cooperated, the ATF could have set them up (like Randy Weaver), or perhaps did beforehand to push for compliance.

I'm sure they had the ability to threaten to shut the shops down over some alleged irregularity in the paperwork (serial number 4 looks like a 9 or something), or the 'informants' they needed to put the shop in a bind.

Yep, and that is one of the reason's Reno was selected as AG.

The US Attorneys, on Bush's orders, were reviewing complaints of police/official abuse and corruption which had been filed with the FBI.

Bill Clinton needed the US Attorneys fired to cover up his official corruption while gov of Arkansas. He had been sued by DoJ for ordering is state troopers to racial profile. In the settlement he had agreed to stop, but he didn't.

Vince Foster's job was to surround Clinton with people that also needed the USA’s fired.

Janet Reno, Warren Christopher, Lee Brown, and Henry Cisneros all need the USA’s fired for their official corruption or for covering up police/official corruption.

Vince Foster was spilling his guts not only about the firing of the USA’s but also about Waco when he ended up belly-up like a fish.

F&F had nothing to do with gun control.

F&F is just a small part.

Gangs were being armed up all over the country. Not just the Mexican drug cartels.

One thing people fail to take into consideration is the pledge to shut down Gitmo.

With the increased security around Gitmo it's hard for the drug dealers to bring their dope up from Cuba, Hatti, etc. through Florida.

Right now the Mexicans control the flow of drugs into the country. The black gangs have to depend on the Mexicans for their dope.

Open another drug route through Florida, black gangs would have their own source of drugs and wouldn't be dependent on the Mexicans.

Soon you would have drug wars in every city in the US between the black and Mexican gangs just like the drug war in Mexico between the different cartels.

Just a thought.

Off topic, but when I read this headline, all I could think about is how much I love Reeses pieces.
