Massachusetts' Democratic Senator-elect Elizabeth Warren raised $41.56 million but still ended her campaign $401,000 in debt, owing money for mailings, printing and accounting services, according to her latest fundraising report with the Federal Election Commission.
Warren defeated incumbent Republican U.S. Sen. Scott Brown in a race that was likely the most expensive U.S. Senate race in the country this election cycle. The basic numbers of Warrens fundraising were announced yesterday by her campaign, which revealed the debt in an email to supporters asking for additional donations.
In that email, the campaign chalked up the debt to higher than expected Election Day expenses - last-minute coffee and pizza to feed volunteers and money for vans to drive people to the polls.
The FEC report released Thursday, which covers the period between Oct. 18 and Nov. 26, showed that Warren finished her campaign owing money for a variety of standard campaign expenses: printing, telemarketing, direct mail and legal and accounting services. The biggest single debt was nearly $150,000 owed to Grossman Marketing Group for printing. She owed another nearly $90,000 to Perkins Coie for legal and accounting services.
The campaign spent a total of $4,165 at Dunkin Donuts, almost all at the location near the Warren campaign headquarters in Somerville. Put another way, the campaign spent enough to buy 1,810 large cups of coffee, or as Warren wrote in her email to supporters, a LOT of coffee.

Don't all campaigns?
Scott Brown didn’t. They expect to have 150-200K left.
Maybe she can start her own reservation and open a casino.

In other words..Granny Warren had to bus people to the polls and give them food/money to vote for her....
Scott Brown was a tea party fraud .
The mailings and printings were paid for by the tax payer, 250G’s worth for printing and mailing “come vote for me” crap to the(welfare) gimme girls.
Isn’t she a millionaire?
If she doesn’t pay up, they should sue and maybe have her thrown in prison as a deadbeat
Scott Brown was a lefty from the start, that didn’t keep some FReepers and others from touring him for President, some of them orgasmically during his first run.
Congrats Massachusetts! Your values are on display!
“The biggest single debt was nearly $150,000 owed to Grossman Marketing Group for printing”
Owned by Steve Grossman, Treasurer of MA. No rush to pay that bill
And her donors can look to these expenses and say she did that with money “that the rest of us paid for.”
she needs big wampum bucks.
