Coulter: Republicans Should Cave on Tax Hikes Because "We Lost the Election"
Townhall ^ | December 7, 2012 | Guy Benson

Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter

SH: So are you saying that, for PR purposes, that they should give in to Obama on the tax rate?

AC: Not exactly, I--Well, yeah, I guess I am.

SH: You're saying capitulate to Obama? We don't have a revenue problem, Ann.

AC: We lost the election, Sean.

Hannity seems genuinely flummoxed by Coulter's capitulatory attitude, but does she have a point? Recent polling has been gruesome for Republicans. Not only does an overall double-digit plurality favor raising taxes on "the rich," support for extending all current tax rates has plummeted by nearly 30 percentage points in two years...among self-identified Republicans. Huffington/Brock Syndrome: Stage 2.

(Can't wait for her book on how she was deceived by the right and now sees the light.)

Will she soon join former Governor Charlie “Green Iguana” Crist in the Democratic party?

If the GOP “caves” on raising taxes on “the rich”, the commie ‘RATS and their toadies in the state controlled “media” will trash the hell out of the GOP for raising taxes on “the rich”.

This useless twit is a card carrying member of the Stupid Party, no doubt about it.

I feel like I’m being pretty damn generous with my choice of vowels too.

I hope she means, “Go over the cliff and let Ubanga take the blame because it was he, after all, who failed to negotiate in good faith, and it was he who insisted on drop-in-the-bucket, symbolic tax hikes on America’s employers.”

If that’s what she means, okay. I agree completely.

But if she means cave in and agree to a tax hike on America’s employers, then she’s still the moron she became when she touted Christie Kreme for the GOP nomination, and then Mittens Romney, the father of the Romneycare model Ubanga used for his own Mengelecare legislation.

Has saying things to get leftist negative attention proved no longer effective? Now she is in the business of saying things to get the ire of conservatives? Eh, whatever. If you have read one Ann Coulter book, you have read them all.

Given her support for Christie and Romney, she does have a point ... on the top of her head.

I saw a clip from this. Coulter put Hannity on the ropes when she asked Him :

Principle?? What principle does it serve for Republicans to raise taxes on 98% of taxpayers over the 2% having to pay higher taxes? That serves no principle”
Dumb Shaun had no answer to that.

The House needs to pass those <$250K 98% tax cuts yesterday or the GOP is doomed,
Hell, a coworker told me that if the GOP did this 6 months ago Obama might have been fired next year.

Is this the stupid party or what?

If the GOP “caves” on raising taxes on “the rich”, the commie ‘RATS and their toadies in the state controlled “media” will trash the hell out of the GOP for raising taxes on “the rich”.

To the contrary, I believe the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms will sneeringly congratulate the Republicans for "finally doing the right thing", and then promptly proceed to the next phase of their agenda wherein they chide the Republicans for demanding spending cuts that are akin to pushing granny off a cliff.

See, it's lose-lose for the Republicans. They get blamed for higher taxes AND pushing granny off a cliff. Caving to Ubanga at this point would gain the Republicans not one single vote. On the other hand, caving to Ubanga would turn off so many conservatives in the party base that it would kill the GOP. No joke. Dead as a doornail.

If the Republicans don't simply step back and let Ubanga take America over the cliff they are freaking morons.
Unfortunately, I fear that Boehner and company are freaking morons.

I used to buy her books.
But, I realized she’s in it for the money, just like everyone else-—NOT for the liberty and best interest of the American people.
She insulted many of us, and that’s an elitist “tell”.

I won’t support her anymore.

But, your comment intrigues me; I’ve never known a female to have such a pronounced Adam’s apple.

God bless foot soldiers like Hannity and Coulter but I just can’t stand another 4 years of handwringing while my liberty and treasure is stolen. Channel off. Wake me when its time to go door to door.

Coulter must be dating a liberal boyfriend and he’s infusing her with liberal doctrine. She was breathless promoting Christie for President - and we see what a phoney Conservative he has become. Now, she says “throw in the towel”......she’s lost!!!

I wasn’t aware that we lost the House of Representatives.

Haven’t heard the term “the loyal opposition” mentioned since the Rats lost the House back in 2010.

Must be a coincidence.
