Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says he would have to have a real serious conversation with Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke before he considers bringing the Federal Reserve Transparency Act to the Senate Floor.
On July 25, the House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2012 (HR 459), also commonly known as the Audit the Fed bill sponsored by retiring Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), in a 327-98 vote and has been received in the Senate. The Senate version of the bill, S.202, is stuck in the Senate.
As CNSNews.com previously reported, Reid was once a strong supporter of auditing the Federal Reserve Systemin 1995. Then being discussed was then-Senator Bryon Dorgans (D-N.D.) amendment that would have required the Federal Reserve to a prepare a report to Congress and disclose the financial impact of changing interest rates on the public and private sector.
Every year the legislation gets nowhere, Reid said in 1995. I think it would be interesting to know about the Federal Reserve. I think we should audit the Federal Reserve.

Reid has lost interest in auditing the Fed now that it’s printing the money needed to prop up his president, the African communist Ubanga.
Lancey Howard~:” Surprise surprise...
Reid has lost interest in auditing the Fed now that its printing the money needed to prop up his president, the African communist Ubanga.”
An audit is a general accepted business practice and principle.
The fact that there has NEVER been an audit of the Fed , tells much about the organization and its accountability.
The United Nations organization had NEVER had an audit. Do you know why : because so much is spent in bribes and adminsitration that almost no money reaches the people for whom it is intended .
Also , with bribes and kickbacks , most U.N. authorities leave the agency as multi-millionaires.
Unfortunately , the same is true of most of our American politicians.
The fact that Obungler had never submitted a budget that recieved a single Democratic vote says much about his fiscal ability and responsibility .
The old rule still applies : “ Follow the money “ !!
Oh man, do I sound fed up? :p
Am I the only one that thinks a “327-98” Rep vote in favor of this bill should mean Reid doesn’t have any say in whether it goes to the floor or not?
The only conversation this imbecilic phony Mormon will have is with Satan.
He and the sexless Pelosi are the lapdogs of the fruitcake- phony Bronco Bama.
No you have made a brilliant deduction.
Why? WTF are they hiding???
Yes, let’s have a massive federal agency accountable to no one with the power to attempt to rig the economy as they see fit by giving them the power to print money. What could possibly go wrong.
Afraid where all your millions came from Reid?? Afraid to find out all the billions wasted by the likes of you and the rest of your crooks Reid Hmmm?
