As many Washington potheads were legally lighting up, two men were shot dead in what appears to be a pot theft gone very bad in Pierce County, the first time the Puget Sound region has read about a wild dope shootout since the Steve Sarich incident in March 2010.
This column discussed the Sarich shooting here and here. Now in Pierce County, an unidentified homeowner defended himself and his 9-year-old son when the two would-be robbers broke in. Sheriffs Detective Ed Troyer noted to the Tacoma News Tribune that it could have turned out a lot differently.
However, unlike Sarich who was growing medical marijuana and fired at shotgun-armed home invaders the Pierce County man could face charges for his in-home crop. Troyer said the amount of pot this guy is growing far exceed whats legal for medical marijuana.
In terms of this states self-defense law, the pot-growing homeowner may not face charges for killing the alleged two bad guys. It is legal to defend ones self and family if necessary with lethal force in cases of imminent and unavoidable danger of grave bodily harm or death, and it appears certain that the two dead guys were not doorbelling for a Christmas charity.

There you go. Pot kills.
Armed robbery and home invasion also creates gun fights.
Enticement to rob still doesn’t create any justification to rob, nor defense if your robbery is thwarted with deadly force.
Or how about cops with the magic powers to turn anyone they please into a felon. All it takes is a dime sized wrapper and away they go. Hey, not every druggie is always carrying drugs so sometimes you gotta improvise. It's so easy, some cops get careless and ruin it for all the others. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2095772/Cowboy-cop-Jason-Arbeeny-planted-crack-couples-car-seat-escapes-jail.html
But no worries. He wont talk if they give him a sweet community service deal. American MSM wont mention it because we can't have riots now, can we?
Oh well, some innocent people have to be sacrificed because drugs are worse than a few people here and there losing their rights. I feel so much safer because less people are getting high out there. Less people are getting high, right?
