President Barack Obama “guarantees a permanent war” with Republicans by forcing the party’s hand on the issue of income-tax hikes on top earners, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Sunday.

“The president won,” Gingrich said on NBC’s Meet the Press. “The president has a very clear, simple position. He wants to prove he can dominate, and he proves he can dominate by getting the rates up, and he has a veto pen.” …

"We didn’t blow it because of Mitt Romney. We blew it because of a party which has refused to engage the reality of American life."

Huh? Romney did blow it. So did the party leaders. But what does this talk about "reality of American life" mean? Is Gingrich now for going along with Obama and raising taxes on the rich? Is that his reality now? It's not mine. The reality is overspending that has to stop.

2016 my ass...this is all about 2014.

Obamski is willing to let 2013/2014 be the worst years since 1936/1937 just so he can blame the GOP and win back the House in 2014.

That's all this is about ==== 2014.

If he gets the House then the last two years of his term will make the first two look like Palin was in charge.

“President Barack Obama “guarantees a permanent war”

Oh, you mean he wasn’t at war with the GOP since 2008?

Newt if flailing like a fish out of water — the message was out there.

A substantial plurality of voters ignored the realities of life in America for a Federal “fix”, or the fantasy of symbolism. Or maybe this IS the new “reality”...

What makes you think he is talking about the 'R' party?

I never thought I’d see it but the Michigan GOP is doing something that will prove to be one of the most devastating things to happen to democrats in decades.

The Republicans aren’t even ready for the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl.

The closest thing to a Super Bowl in 2016 will be something like a scene out of the Roman Colisseum with rich white guys being the spear catchers and giant kitty food.

The R’s need to grow a pair. They’ll be called every bad name in the book no matter what. Mid-term elections are tougher when it comes to voter fraud, and many of the idiot vote ignore them. They need to draw a line in the sand that includes immediate spending cuts for higher taxes. And the higher taxes should be equally shared by all Americans.

The RNC is not getting another penny from me until the RINO Boehner stops playing “butt boy” for Hussein.

You must not be planning on giving any more to the RNC then, becaause Boehner is not going to stop being Hussein’s butt boy. Besides should Boehner be replaced, his replacement will just back up to Hussien and offer him his butt. The Republicans cannot help themselves, it is in their DNA.

Exactly.

Every Republican voter should get active in whatever way possible to advance a real team of political animals with the intention of replacing fellows like Boehner.

You mean something like our terrific Gov. Scott Walker did here in Wisconsin??? He took on da unions and WE WON - TWICE. Now they ARE still hacked and vow to get even with us, by trying to run interference via the court system with the lefty slimy judges in Madison. But GOOD luck to you guys next door in Michigan. Woo Hoo. Right to Work. LOVE it.

I am pretty down on the GOP leadership and upper echelon members right now. I think the US public is going to be sodomized by the the left and Democrats and the gutless self serving GOP in power right now won't do a damn thing to curb it. Sarah Palin and the Tea Party need to get going on steroids NOW!

LOL...maybe the alma mater (UCF) should play them instead of Ball State? Should be an easy win
