Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- A senior al Qaeda leader was killed in a drone strike Thursday in Pakistan, two of the country's intelligence officials told CNN on Sunday.
Sheikh Khalid bin Abdel Rehman, who also went by the code name Abu Zaid al-Kuwaiti, was killed in the strike near Miran Shah in North Waziristan, one of the seven districts of Pakistan's tribal region bordering Afghanistan, the officials said.

Night talk host Charlie Jones was speaking about this...read from some source that this guy was the last one standing between Zawahiri and a bunch of little nobody wannabes.
Headline was “something’s up in the Pakistani tribal areas”. Must’ve gotten a mother lode of new intel, because he’s the 4th one to die just recently.
Of course this is GREAT because O is president, but it was unforgivable of Bush/Cheney to use “harsh interrogation techniques”, and we must try terrorists in our courts here to ensure their rights and above all, close the “horror” of gitmo... /sarc
