The Salvation Army is under increasing attack from homosexual activists this Christmas season. The Christian organization is under fire for merely holding Christian beliefs on marriage and the familyit does not discriminate against anyoneand now the war has extended to a formal resolution by the Associated Students of the University of California at Berkeley calling for a ban of Salvation Army donation boxes on campus; university officials are considering the request.
An organized effort to boycott the Salvation Army is also under way. A gay website, watermarkonline.com, is asking its readers nationwide not to give to the charitable organization. Gays in Chicago have launched their own campaign to withhold donations. The net result is that more of the needy will go without this Christmas season, thanks to the efforts of these homosexuals.
Not only does the Salvation Army not discriminate in hiring, and in whom they serve, it does not lobby for any cause. Indeed, its only agenda is serving the dispossessed. Yet to those driven by a lust for power in the homosexual community, it makes sense to sacrifice the poor for the purpose of advancing their agenda.
It is too kind to say this is another example of political correctness: It is nothing less than an attempt to punish thought. This, of course, is one of the ugliest traits of the totalitarian mindset. That its intellectual home is the University of California, Berkeley, should surprise no one.
Please give to the Salvation Army this Christmas. Let them know we support their charitable goals, as well as their courage in standing up to bullies.

Sodomy isn’t tolerated in the Christian Salvation Army? Oh the horror.
I do not give to charities in the Obamanation.
The Amerikan public has made it’s statement, they want my money, and they want it now. That means I don’t have any to donate, sorry.
When disaster strikes ACT-Up is there. Oh wait, they’re not! Ask a Gay Activist what charities they supports and they always answer something to do with AIDS. Meanwhile the Christian organizations are there no questions asked.
The SA has helped countless men and women turn away from the botlle and needle. God bless you!
Thanks for the reminder, I need to get a check in the mail to them before Dec 31st.
The Salvation Army has very nice Christmas decorations on sale for a $5 donation. I look forward to ringing the bell with my fellow Knights of Columbus council this Saturday.
But, but, but, all they want is equal rights, and to be left alone . . . right??? /s
For me it's a no brainer. I supprt the Salavation Army hands down.
You just can’t please these people. Give them an inch and they want nine.
The Gays are no different.
I am so tired of these HomoNazis. The Salvation Army is one of the finest peoples out there, and does not deserve this bigotry from HomoNazi Hate Groups
I never pass a red bucket without putting something in it. I've taught my kids to do the same ever since they were babies.
It took awhile to get my husband conditioned, but now he does it out of habit.
Because it's charity, I have no problem giving at all. During the Christmas season, I have a policy of dropping a $20 each week until I get my shopping done (and I try to start early. This year it's food items though. Food isn't taxed - Starve the beast.).
So the queers, who make up some 3% of the population, refuse to give to the SA. Because they’re offended by the SA’s traditional views on marriage.
Well... similar to the Boy Scouts, they can always start up a homo-friendly parallel organization.
I try not go by a red kettle without putting a couple of bucks in it. Might go by the store just drop some off...
These radical homosexuals love to attack Christian charities - they also go after Samaritan’s Purse. One of the most fun ways to go after the more obnoxious of them is to start badgering them to donate to “offset” the charities work.
Believe or not, they usually shut up. “So, how much did you give to the homeless this year? to take the place of what the SA does? - Did you go down to the soup kitchen and feed the poor?” is a great comeback - even if they are heartless enough that they don’t really care, they usually will just sputter with fury.
Wow what a great reminder, at this moment in time.. I was just getting ready to go to Target for Christmas shopping..
I will now take a couple of more miles to go to Walmart, and while I’m there I’ll make sure to drop a few extra buck in the SA bucket.. Screw You Freaks and Queers, I’m up to here with their sickness dominating MY WORLD!
I’m trying to think of other ways to stick it to them, so to speak.. LOL
Just a matter of time before they target churches and individual Christians in general. Fortunately, there are alot of Christians in America are are armed to the hilt.
Yeah, but the Salvation Army doesn't worship Satan. That makes them a right wing charity.
I find it interesting that the famous liberal “tolerance” is really just a one way street.
Unfortunately, the homosexuals are doing pretty well in their war against the BSA.
Goes to show what happens you let perversion out of the closet. We should have known better.
Love the Salvation Army! Luckily, they are all over our Sandy-stricken town. I love to put my spare one dollar bills in the little red kettle.
Time to file a class action suit against the Gay Lobby for Sexual Harassment.
They are forcing others to participate in their sexual practices and their exhibitionism.
You have spare one dollar bills ?
Luckily, the BSA hasn’t bent over like the GSA and take it from the queers. They may have a little less money, but they still have their principles and morals. They may try to war against the SA, but I don’t think they will win.
Target’s Salvation Army ban had nothing to do with pressure from gays. It was done at the recommendation of their legal counsel to keep the company union-free. (If you allow the SA to solicit on your property a union could go to court and demand the same access. Non-solicitation policies have to be blanket and non-discriminatory.)
My father didn’t trust most charities. He thought they were all scams. But he always had high praise for the Salvation Army. During World War II, both the SA and the Red Cross provided cigarettes, toiletries and the like for the troops. However, Dad liked the SA because, unlike the Red Cross, the SA didn’t charge the soldiers for all those supplies. But there was another thing about the SA that Dad didn’t talk about much. Dad, like most soldiers, were young men far from home, missing loved ones and probably scared. The SA provided counsel and comfort for the lonely and anxious servicemen.
My father has gone to his reward, but to honor his memory, I still give to the SA. A good charity. Good people.
And as far as I know, when the SA provides assistance, it doesn’t ask what your sexual orientation is.
Encountering these perverse individuals on Twitter is really eye-opening. This one fanatical dolt claimed that 25 percent of the population is gay. When I asked her for a study proving that number, she replied that she doesn’t need a study, so knows that 25 percent of the population is gay based on her life experiences.
I’ll make sure to give more money to Salvation Army now that they are in the crosshairs of these demented individuals.
William Booth sought only to serve others. The INTOLERANT GAYstapo seeks only to condemn others.
Support Salvation Army. I’ll be starting up my personal red kettle online tonight after work!
Same here! Dad said the Red Cross even charged them for a simple cup of coffee. He had no use for them.
After Hurricane Agnes, water was up to our roof. We lost everything. The Red Cross came in and offered us all we needed - at top dollar. They said they'd set us up with an account. My parents just lost everything, and even the place my dad worked was under water!
The Salvation Army came in, and gave us everything we needed for free - even toys and new underwear for us kids. They supplied us with furniture, bedding and anything else we needed to get by.
From that point on, my family has always supported the Salvation Army. Without them, who knows what would have happened to us. Mom and dad had 6 kids to feed and care for, too!
Whether I can spare them or not, I do like to stick them in the kettle. Somehow, I manage to live, lol!
Good reminder for me to up my donation.
It’s the tithing principle ... God takes care ... pressed down, shaken .. running over.
You lead me to google your remark. I can never get over the beauty of the bible. I wish I could memorize its beautiful phrases.
We donated a car to them this year (although that had nothing to do with THIS controversy). They don’t get involved in politics and keep costs low by relying on volunteers or modestly-salaried members.
Gays don’t like em? I’m donating today!!!!
I condemn gays. So what?
Don't know about you all, but I'm sick and tired of this bullshit.

Please we aren’t talking about their sexual proclivities here.
That’s very interesting, Buckeye. I never knew it was to keep the unions from soliciting.
The Salvation Army is a fine Organization representing all the principles of Christianity. God Bless Them Always.
Homosexuals are a group of Sexually Challenged Miscriants trying to control the world. They will eventually Kill themselves Off
Merry Christmas!!
Four years of obama has been a gift of sorts for me. I've not had such an interest or motivation for biblical study before obama and I'm amazed by how much more vivid and pertinent it has become thanks to life in the obamanation.
I guess he's good for something after all.
I can vouch for your father being right about the Salvation Army and the Red Cross. After the Battle of Guam, where almost 8,000 Americans were killed or wounded my uncle came ashore with the US Navy. The Red Cross was already there, SELLING donuts to GIs. He never had any use for the Red Cross. He always said the Salvation Army was the best charity in the world. The Red Cross did great things after Katrina also.
Meant to say the Salvation Army did great things after Katrina. The Red Cross ripped being people off.
