MD passed gay marriage this year. 250 years ago they didn't even have marriage in MD ~ so, I guess it's long term progress that they recognize some marriages.

We'll see how long that lasts though. Down on the Block they don't do marriage and don't care.

I don't disagree that decades of single motherhood has hurt our culture (and economy) on a number of different levels.

But for MM to say that it therefore follows that homosexual marriage is okay is faulty reasoning at best.

One has nothing to do with the other. And she ignores the corrosive effects that the gay agenda has on our culture and our economy as well.

For example, we don't see single mothers go to the nth degree to corrupt our young in elementary and middle school, attempt to destroy the Catholic Church, withdraw monies from organizations like the Boy/Girl Scouts because these organizations don't agree with the single motherhood lifestyle. People don't lose their jobs because they think raising a child without a father is harmful to the child and our culture.

The gay ‘mafia’ does all that and more.

The problem with children without a father is the absence of a male influence. A heterosexual man.

Simply having a ‘twig and berries’ does not make you a man; two gay men as parents still leaves a void of a bona fide male influence in their lives.

Last, and certainly not least, homosexuality is an abomination to God; single motherhood is not.

A society that turns their back on God will soon be a culture that is no longer free and just.

Mary has either not thought through her arguments for homosexual marriage, or is intentionally trying to obfuscate the issue.

He is. It is the homosexual sex is good bubble -the bubble that morally devoid leftists and their useful idiots promote. The 'gay' feces eating butt sex loving crowd are simply the self destructive victims being community organized by the leftists.

Excuse me, but thirty plus states have already voted on the same question and overwhelming rejected your point of view. It is hardly a surprise that a mere handful of states held elections that provided an opposite result. There are not that many states left, but if every remaining state voted against traditional marriage today, on a state by state basis, your position would still be in the minority.

Maybe you misunderstood, I didn't post my point of view, I posted polls and election results. Hopefully that helps folks slow to the punch to realize that they need to wake up and do something.

32 States in a row voted for traditional marriage, but now 4 in a row have voted against. California voted for traditional marriage 10 years ago, but do you think that same vote would happen now? Point being, opposition to gay marriage is fading, look again at the polls i posted. People can be idiots and deny it while it happens around them, or you they can take action.

Why don't you join me and donate some money to the ADF. They know this is a real battle and are on the front lines fighting it.
