WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has canceled her trip to Morocco this week for a meeting on the future of Syria's opposition because of a stomach virus, the State Department said on Monday.
Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns will travel to the meeting in her place.

Hillary is sick with worry. She like most government workers abhors work. If she travelled to Syria she would actually have to do what she was paid for. It’s more fun to travel with your entourage to places like China, Ireland, Singapore, Peru, South Africa and France.

That’s my feeling, too; she knows things are out of control in Syria (and the ME in general) and she’s distancing herself. She’s pretty inept herself, but she’s just been carrying out Barry’s orders in the ME and I think she’s getting tired of being blamed for the results. I’m not sure she was thrilled when he tried to get her to take the blame for Benghazi, and there may be hard feelings there.
“Stomach virus” indeed. That’s the classic “calling in dead” excuse when you don’t have any symptoms of anything that might make the excuse more convincing.

That’s another good point. She’s stalling for time, and that’s certainly a good way of doing it.
I think she’s had it. And I’m sure she’s tired of being used by Obama. And we’ll likely never know what he has on her. But it must have been big enough that he could get the entire party to turn on her.
