Have you considered the possibility that the officers may have been attempting to wrestle a gun from the burglar? The burglar may have been much larger or doped up.

Of course I considered that those possibilities could exist. That is precisely why I said I would wait for more info before passing judgement.

This may, indeed, be a righteous shoot...or not.

The burglar was probably a family man down on his luck with young children and a wife at home. In a desperate attempt to provide his family with a memorable Christmas he did the unthinkable and broke into a residence. He had every intention of making restitution as soon as Obama helped him to get back on his feet. /S
